Taif Disaster & Emergency Preparation Mgt & Prevention Measures Personal Analysis
I don’t know how to handle this Health & Medical question and need guidance.
Step 1
After reading the interviews:
- you have to do “coding” the themes for whole class interviews (collect data from all interviews) using excel program.
- When you are finishing the themes (coding), from the result, write 4 different a personal analysis
Step 2
- Since you have “coded” the themes, NOW you can focus the questions a little bit (still have to decide if each question should be an open question, or preselected options) to get at the meaning from the sample population perspective. Please be careful: I still don’t want to see bias in the survey, i.e. leading questions (or answers) designed to make YOUR preconceived conclusion (confirmation bias). Let the sample and their data tell the story.
- Build 20 questions can fill the gaps, see where the gaps are (the gaps in the 28 questions which are in the interview or the survey) can added to the original interview to be more reasonable. Did a particular interview question yield interesting, but incomplete data? What premise did you make that needs confirmation, or clarification, or amplification? Where was saturation not found? Those areas are what you would explore in a larger sample, and for the assignment, your next tool would be a “Survey”; in this case something that would be sent out to individuals for them to complete without the support/interaction of the interviewer
