MUSIC ESSAY

Write a 500 word essay that identifies the components of the songs that articulates the dynamic, and locates at least one difference between the two in their expression of the dynamic.

I have two song in my mind. One is “I’m not worthy”(2007) by Jay Chou. And the other one is “Are we there yet”(2011) by Dumbfoundead. Both music can be found on Youtube. You can search for the background information of the era these songs are composed of and come up with a conclusion of how the culture has influenced the music. I want to focus on how globalization(particularly America) affects the Asia culture(how america inflences people’s taste). So try to focus on the relation between culture and music. And please do analyze these two songs(genre, background of singer, meaning..etc).
