    2. Who were Booker T. Washington and WEB DuBois, and how did their perspectives on race relations differ?  How were they similar?  And lastly, place them into the larger context of the Black Freedom Struggle—IE, how were they different from what came before, and what came after?
    3. How did the U.S.’ involvement in WWI affect economic affairs & social relationships on the American home front? Successful answers will provide specific examples from the readings and lectures.
