I feel the same way about our HR department. Being a fairly small business, our HR department is really one person in our corporate office. It seems as if his primary job is to do our payroll. I believe this position has great potential with the right person. When I think of HR, I envision someone open and easy to talk with and willing to help all employees. In doing so, the HR person would be able to report to upper management those who are and those who are not capable of doing more.
