Select a specific issue covered in class from our units on the family, the school, delinquent peer affiliation, or youth substance abuse, and discuss how this issue can either be prevented and/or improved upon. This will require you to conduct research on the topic of your choice and utilize critical thinking skills to discuss how to address the issue. Possible topics include, but are not limited to, child abuse and neglect, maintaining relationships with parents in prison, bullying/cyberbullying at school, high school dropout rates, vaping, youth binge drinking, gang involvement, etc. If you have an idea in mind that was not addressed in class, please reach out to me with your idea so that we can discuss whether it is relevant for this paper.

Your paper is required to be 4-5 FULL pages in length, double-spaced, 12-point font, and closely resemble the example posted in D2L. You are expected to use a minimum three outside sources. These sources must be reputable and cited appropriately using APA citation style. If you have any questions about how to cite in APA format, please look at the resources available to you in D2L. When in doubt about the reputability of a source, please ask.
