Select an academic-referred research article in an area that fits your professional and academic knowledge goals – you should now be identifying articles that support your topic for this semester.  This article should have meta-analysis or systematic review research methodology.

systematic review answers a defined research question by collecting and summarizing all empirical evidence that fits pre-specified eligibility criteria. A metaanalysis is the use of statistical methods to summarize the results of these studies.

After reading and analyzing the article, complete the following questions.

  1. Specifically, what is the purpose of this research?
  2. Describe the review method used in this article. What is the range of dates for the review?
  3. What is the “So What?” of this research study? What has been added to the body of academic and/or professional knowledge?
  4. What are the implications for future research from the author? What would you add for future research?
  5. APA reference of the article.

  1. For this week’s assignment, present the name and description of an athletic facility you are employed by (e.g., gym owner, employee) in order to develop the required code of ethics for the athletic facility’s organization. This athletic facility can be fictitious (i.e., hypothetical). For examples, an athletic facility’s name could be: City Gym, County Fitness Center, Cove’s Sports Facility. Identify location (i.e., city, state) for athletic facility within this description. In addition, present a specific date concerning onset (i.e., start) of facility’s operations (e.g., January 1, 2015). Also, identify how many individuals are presently employed by this organization. This description should be written in the third person.

 

  1. Additionally, include a personal biography which can, and should be fictitious (i.e., hypothetical). Please use your actual name in the organization’s biography. Providing your actual name helps when learning about your interests. Include a brief explanation explaining how you can assist the athletic facility with creating some code of ethics concerning their organization’s business operations. This should also be written in the third person as if it were to appear on an organization’s website. Therefore, the bio should not include words like my, I, etc. Please see the example below.

 

  • In conclusion, identify the three (3) departments (i.e., see list of six departments presented in following paragraph) you will be discussing within your final project. For each identified department, provide at least three (3) sentences within a brief explanation indicating your reason(s) for selecting each department.

Self-reflection as a PMHNP provider

The purpose of this reflective journal is self-reflection regarding the role in the process of self-reflection as a PMHNP provider. After reading about art in India, Japan, and Islamic cultures – and as a preview of the
next unit on China – you will research an issue (or connected issues) at stake in Asian
arts (East or West Asia). An example of an issue could be censorship, gender
representation, or Western influence, but try to find something original and surprising.
The issue could be found in either the visual arts (such as architecture, painting,
sculpture, installations, etc.), literature (such as poetry, narrative, or playwrights), or
performing arts (such as music, dance, opera, etc.).

● The paper will have an introduction that gets the attention of the reader, identifies
the artist that was researched, and previews the specifics about this artist that
will be discussed in the paper.
● Use in-text (parenthetical) citations to identify the source of each fact, statistic,
research detail, or quote.
● Sources will be properly cited according to MLA style in a Works Cited page.
● Use at least two different sources for the paper, one of which should be an
academic source.
● The conclusion of the paper will include a summary of the main points and draw
a conclusion about this artist’s success in portraying his African culture today.
● The paper will be double-spaced, in 12-point font, have one-inch margins, all
double-spaced, and be as error-free as possible. Proofread and revise. Read
your paper out loud and actually listen to your sentence structure and grammar
usage. Make all corrections before you turn in a final draft. At least 2 pages.
● Minimum length: three pages (without counting header or title).
● Make sure that you are writing about an issue in 21st-century Asian art, not a
profile of an artist. If you’ve overlooked this aspect, I will deduct points for papers
that do not follow the assignment.
