Write 6 pages with APA style on What Are the Particular Tools that a Phenomenology Study Uses to Uncover the Meaning of a Phenomenon such as in the Physiotherapy Field. In physiotherapy, such a situation can be shared experience in aspects such as chronic disease or back pains among patients. This paper’s account is to discuss phenomenology as a qualitative research methodology in relation to the research question above. Having established the research question as stated above, the essay will begin with a discussion of the key characteristics of the phenomenology methodology also including its epistemological and ontological assumptions and other general characteristics. The latter includes the phenomenological steps of bracketing, intuiting, analyzing, and describing, all of which help in defining the exact meaning of phenomenology. The essay concludes with an explanation of data collection methods and the analysis utilized by this methodology.

Like all other research methodologies, there must be elements of a method that defines the research validity. Phenomenology achieves such validity of results through structuring the focus of the research into an in-depth narrative to gather a cumulative essence of a condition or experience (Dill, 2014). In this regard, the first method of phenomenology is to identify the phenomenon and define any shared experiences. What exact condition is under consideration? For instance, the challenges faced by disabled persons who have lost the ability to involve themselves in social life. Their limitations include the inability to participate in sports or family affairs. As exampled in this phenomenon, the challenges experienced by the patient can be formed within seconds and can be enhanced further into a more concrete condition such as Asperger syndrome.

Once the shared experiences are identified, the second step of phenomenology is bracketing and the researcher’s bias identification. Bracketing is the process of identifying any predetermined beliefs or opinions that a&nbsp.researcher may have in relation to the phenomenon established.

Men are stronger than women

On the case of the comparison of how the men and women are handled at a different place, it is important to note that this kind of discrimination is so common in many offices. One of the factors that make this malware so rampant is that the women are always perceived as weaker human beings who may not perform some duties. This is, therefore, a very sensible reason that puts off the ladies. Gender sensitivity is a very crucial factor that is being propagated by various organizations to make this percolate down to the other lower areas of the society to enhance equal treatment to both men and women (Barbara, 20110.&nbsp.

In one of the companies in Canada, I had an aunt who pursued a degree in electrical and electronics engineering. In her search for employment, it was so funny in a sad way that she could not be accepted and given chance in the company despite the passes and excellences that she had shown in her credentials. The company argued that women are very sensitive in an organization and that they could be married at any time and thereby getting a leaf and offs for maternal reasons. This was quite devastating and she, therefore, lost the chance because of such kind of perception and thought by the company (Ebony magazine, Vol. 56, No. 1).

Other forms of reasons are as well in favour of the women. It is important to note that some employers would prefer to give employment opportunities to the ladies. These employers are in most case male. They do this with a high expectation that the women would give them certain things in return and in many cases this does be sexual exchange with the women. Under this case, it does be the men who lose when they seek employment in such organizations. There is a friend of mine who lost a job to a woman not that he did not qualify for the job but because the employer had a plan with the woman (Jane 2004).

It is also important to note that certain traditional perceptions, myths, believes and misconceptions have been the major cause of the discrimination that is pressured on the women. For example, it is always perceived that certain jobs cannot be done by women. These are in many cases jobs that are strenuous and consuming much energy (Mustafa 2010).

My sister lost a chance in an interview when she went to seek employment in a building and construction firm. This job was perceived and is still assumed that it is only the men who can do these kinds of jobs. It is important to note that this kind of discrimination can lower the rates of productivity in the country. It is the mind that is applied not the gender (Working Mother magazine Vol. 25, No. 8, 2002).

It is important to highlight that even as the parents prepare for their retirement benefits schemes, most of the parents do not include their daughters. This is in many cases with the assumption that the ladies will get married elsewhere (Jane 2004).

writing homework on Discussion of the Conflict of the Right to Same-Sex Marriage and the Bill of Rights.

Need help with my writing homework on Discussion of the Conflict of the Right to Same-Sex Marriage and the Bill of Rights. Write a 500 word paper answering; In a criminal justice system, culture, personal experience, and justice normally have a characteristic relation that draws on each other for implementation. The rule of law provides for the freedoms and privileges of individuals and groups within a society to enjoy their democratic rights as long as their rights do not infringe on the rights of the others. Nevertheless, in the current socio-cultural environment, social justice has come to a crossroad where there is a conflict between individual and traditional rights of society.&nbsp.&nbsp.

Analysis of the traditional cultural versus the interpersonal interest conflict from the angle of social justice, it is important to understand the implication of same-sex marriage to the society that is opposed to the arrangement. Equally, it would be significant to understand the implication of prohibiting same-sex marriage as it will lead to infringing the rights of the minority in society. In the approach of social justice, Therefore, the main question in the application of the law is whether it is just to protect the minority in the community or to safeguard the rights of the majority in the community.

Discussion 2

The fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth amendments of the constitutions are particularly of concern to the criminal justice.

Individuals are protected from unreasonable search and seizure of property unless with a warrant for a probable cause according to the fourth amendment. This amendment may hinder the operation of criminal justice. An example when the police suspect that evidence of robbery is hidden in a particular location and could be relocated any time, it would take the police time to process the warrant which might be ready after the relocation. In the Fifth Amendment, individuals are protected from self-incriminating and double jeopardy. This amendment prevents criminal justice from benefiting from the evidence that a criminal may be willing to present (Deborah, 2013).

The sixth amendment requires individual proceeds in a court to be speedy and public trial with a right to an imperial jury. The individual also has the right to know the charges, provide witnesses, cross-examine the government witnesses and counsel. This amendment impacts the court sine the criminal/suspect is granted rights that he/she can use to his/her advantage to win the case. In the eighth amendment, individuals are protected against excessive fines and bail, and against cruel and unusual punishment. The eighth amendment impacts positively on all part of the criminal justice system as it protects the citizens from harm.&nbsp.

Provide a 7 pages analysis while answering the following question: The Gulf Coast BP Oil Spill.

Provide a 7 pages analysis while answering the following question: The Gulf Coast BP Oil Spill. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. Since the April 20 Explosion, approximately $430,000 a day has floated into the surrounding ocean, killing wildlife in the process. Market losses have resulted in a value of at least $25 billion. Comparatively speaking, clean water to half a billion people is a $15 billion expense. At present, environmental disaster experts estimate that $300 million will be required to merely to control the spill prior to clean up (Visual Economics 2010). The direct human impact of the recent Bp explosion calls forth immediate examination of risk assessment and management on drilling sites, but those risks and their costs are, of course, known by employees, with full liability sustained only by proof of negligence on the part of the company (International Finance Corporation 2000). Human error and the potential for partial liability on behalf of those working on site has been a critical part of like explosion investigations. In 2005, an explosion and fire at BP’s Texas City refinery killed 15 workers, injured many more. In 2007, Bp was obligated to pay US authorities $373.5 million in fines relating to the 2005 explosion, as well as the 2006 Alaska oil spill, and a propane price-fixing scandal (Hoovers 2010). Mitigation is an inherent aspect of doing business as an oil conglomerate, however. For instance, the discovery of corrosion in a major oil pipeline in 2006, forced BP to close down part of its Prudhoe Bay oilfield (which represents 8% of daily US crude production) for several weeks. The intrusion of the oil refinement process(s) into waterways, and the coordination or disjuncture between international regulation on such endeavors and U.S. federal laws pertaining to restrictions on oil drilling in response to a history of environmental legislative amendments toward preservation and protection of ocean territories within U.S. sovereign jurisdiction.

According to the United Nations IMO International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation (OPRC) designed to assist Governments to combat major oil pollution incidents, the earlier 1971 Convention became international law in May 1995. Designed to facilitate international co-operation and mutual assistance on major oil pollution disasters, the Convention was funded toward an adequate capacity to deal with oil pollution emergencies. In 2000, amendments to “raise the maximum amount of compensation payable from the IOPC Fund for a single incident, including the limit established under the 2000 CLC amendments, to 203 million SDR (US$260 million), up from 135 million SDR (US$173 million).

“As an employer, I understand the challenges firms face due to the ever-increasing cost of coverage premiums. This statement is affirmed by statistics from the CDC that the cost of insurance premiums continues to rise. Consequently, employee medical claims are on the rise. The CDC estimated the cost of average annual premiums paid by employers in 2010 to be $13,770 for family coverage and $5, 049 for single coverage (1). According to reports by the Wall Street Journal, there was an anticipated rise of 4.4 percent on employer-based benefits in 2014 (Johnson 1).

Among the leading causes of additional care cost increase is the trending rise is in cases of lifestyle-related complications. In response to this, I believe employers should implement programs that would ensure employees to incur the cost of extra premium spent on lifestyle-related illnesses and chronic conditions. Employers should device an economic program that would ensure employees compensate the extra cost over premiums spent on lifestyle-related diseases. The following is a proposed framework that employers would use to ensure employees pay for extra costs above coverage premium spent on lifestyle-related conditions.

First, employers should schedule all chronic conditions that are lifestyle-related and contribute to the increase in cost of premium. A possible list should include conditions such as diabetes, some forms of cancers, heart disease, and obesity-related illnesses. In order to ensure a robust program, accredited health care professionals should approve the scheduled list of complications and ascertain they are lifestyle-related.

The second process in the framework should involve calculations of direct and indirect costs of incurred from health-related illnesses. Direct cost calculation is simple and can be estimated based on extra expenditure the company has on inpatient and outpatient services. They include extra expenditure on services including surgeries, radiological processes, laboratory tests, and drug therapies. Indirect costs include an estimation of resources forgone by the firm or company because of lifestyle-related health condition that affects an employee. The value of lost work because of absenteeism should be calculated based on accumulated wages throughout the period. Other forms of indirect cost include the value of increased insurance incurred by the company because of lifestyle-related conditions.

The third aspect of the framework is to calculate above-the-coverage premium expenditure per-individual or family on lifestyle-related conditions. The direct or indirect cot should be valued as at the current economic conditions considering factors such as inflation. Through the model, the company can calculate the cost above that stated in the coverage premium.

In most arrangements, employers pay half the premium as portion of the benefits package. Any calculated cost incurred by an employer that is above half the premium spent on lifestyle-related conditions should be deducted from wages or salaries of the employee (s). That will compensate the high cost of healthcare premiums that employers spend every year on personal or family packages. The human resource department should implement the proposed program. My justification for the proposed program is to compel employees to reform their lifestyle, and consequently the lower expenditure on employer-based benefits.”

Create a 1 page page paper that discusses the painter-ideologue of french revolution.

Create a 1 page page paper that discusses the painter-ideologue of french revolution. A member of the rival political faction had stabbed him to death when he was having his medicinal bath to cope with his long-term skin disease that he fell prey to while hiding from the King’s soldiers Paris’s sewer. (Kleiner, 2008, p.769).

David has used a simple and clear style in this painting. He has intentionally avoided the Macabre and presented Marat as a romantic tragic hero. The pen and paper in his hands remind the onlooker that he was deeply engrossed in his service to revolution as a writer right up to his last breath. The face of Marat is painted as suffering from pain, still full of grace. In his hands, there is a petition that either the assassin brought with her or he was preparing for some poor unfortunate person, to get assistance from a widow of a martyr of the revolution. All this attention given to details raises the virtues of the deceased in the eyes of the beholder. The skin problems that Marat suffered from were intentionally avoided in the painting.

In his early years as a painter, David had followed the Rococo style of painting which was considered trendy in those days. But after seeing the renaissance period Greek paintings while he was studying in Rome, he renounced the decorative style of Rococo as “artificial” and “exalted the “perfect form” of Greek art” (Kleiner, 2008, p.769). Art historians have pointed to the resemblance of this painting to the depiction of Christ in Michelangelo’s Pieta’ (Kleiner, 2008, p.769). The arms that are hanging down in both paintings have a similarity un-surpassed by even the eyes of a person with the least training in understanding art. This likeness has remained a major source of controversy regarding the ideological positions reflected in this painting.

B) “The architecture of the United States can be read as a textbook of history” ( Steele, p.35)

It was in the late 1700s and early 1800s that the newly formed independent nation of the United States of America built its grand official buildings adopting the neoclassical style. The new nation had wanted to become like Athens, which was the beacon of ancient democracy and this was the main reason behind choosing greek architecture. Steele has argued that the United States, like any other new world powers, was effectively “appropriating authority” using “architectural forms and symbols” (Steele, p.35). Also, in that period, neo classic style of architecture was associated with values such as freedom, justice and human rights (Steele, p.35). So, adopting this style was an effort to convey the values of the nation to the rest of the world (Steele, p.35). Neoclassical buildings of the United States are also considered as images of stability, equality, and innovation (Steele, p.35)

Symmetrical shape, tall columns that rise to the height of the building, triangular pediment and domed roof are some of the prominent features of neo-classical architecture. A good example of all these can be seen in the structure of the White House. The White House (2009) website has proclaimed that though renovated many times, the basic form and shape of the White House building are retained through two centuries. The White House (2009) website also has stated that oval office which was built in 1909 is a mix of baroque, neoclassical and Georgian styles of architecture, the President’s study was built in Victorian style and the porticos were influenced by an 1817 Chateau’ de Rastignac in France.

Write 1 page thesis on the topic debunking thanksgiving myths at plimoth plantation.

Write 1 page thesis on the topic debunking thanksgiving myths at plimoth plantation. The event lasted for three days and was done to celebrate their harvest (Ogintz). The event was also held to thank the Wampanoag Indian tribe because they were the ones who taught the pilgrims of Plymouth survival and hunting skills. Luckily for the pilgrims, it was the Wampanoag’s’ tradition to offer whatever food they have to their visitors that is why the event became the sort of a feast. This custom then spread throughout the colonies (“Thanksgiving Day”).

Before the formal date for Thanksgiving was established, each region chose their date for the celebration. It was in 1789 when first President George Washington officially declared November 26 as a day of Thanksgiving. In 1863, President Lincoln proclaimed that the fourth Thursday of November is the day for thanksgiving. Since then, every American president made a proclamation on the celebration of Thanksgiving Day (“Thanksgiving Day”).

People in America celebrate Thanksgiving Day with their families. The event is usually accompanied by sumptuous meals that include cranberry juice, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin or apple pie. Of course, the day would not be complete without turkey. However, some people would rather serve roast prime rib than turkey. Before the family shared the meal, a special thank you prayer will be said. Also, most of the families ask their family members to say anything that they are thankful for (“Thanksgiving Day”).
