  1. Review each business organization profile you selected.Identify at least three characteristics (for example, the organization’s size, ownership, profitability, and the goods or services it offers) that classify each organization in one of the templates provided. Consider the following:
    1. Are they considered small, medium, or large business organizations?
    2. Who and how many people own the business organization?
    3. Is the business organization for-profit or nonprofit?
    4. What does each business organization focus on (for example, services, merchandising, manufacturing, or a hybrid of two or more of these)?

Overview

Imagine that you are a senior consultant at Practical Health Care Consulting. Your supervisor has instructed you to spend three months at Caring Angel Hospital to help improve the quality of care, add value to the organization, improve employee morale, design an efficient organizational chart, create a strong team environment, and create the hospital’s competitive advantage. The hospital has traditionally made losses year after year.
