You will prepare and submit a term paper on The Ninth Chapter of the Book of Job. Your paper should be a minimum of 1250 words in length.

“The book of Job is the story of a normal human being who is beset by misfortune and suffering” (Ogwyn). Nevertheless, this amazing man demonstrates great courage and bravery in the face of the Lord is ready to meet directly with the judgment of God, while no one can stand next to him and he will be alone with God (Job 9:33).

God does not give a direct answer to Job. Instead of explaining the reasons for the suffering of Job, God puts before him several seemingly unrelated ironic issues that convince Job in the insignificance of the knowledge and power of people.

The moral pathos of the book can be seen in the approval of the following three truths. The first truth is that the traditional doctrine of the causal link between suffering and sin is false. Also, the greatness of God’s works excessing human understanding serves as proof of God’s justice. The connection between a factual fate of the individual and his/her moral merits remains a mystery to the man. Finally, in the light of Job’s knowledge of the greatness and strength of God, the issues addressed by Job to God lose their relevance.

The reason is that only on the condition that the person can understand the wisdom and power of God, he/she can understand the way of God’s providence. Interpretation of the ninth chapter of the Book of Job allows one seeing significant differences between the concept of God’s justice represented by Job and the criminal justice system. As is well known, “the criminal justice system is the set of agencies and processes established by governments to control crime and impose penalties on those who violate laws” (“The Criminal Justice System”).

The criminal justice system assumes certain principles of justice, according to which the violation of the laws entails specific measures and forms of punishment. In turn, justice is defined as “the fair and equitable treatment of all individuals under the law” (“Justice”). Justice is the result of compliance with a number of legal principles.

A fingerprint bank would allow for security officials to have a check on fingerprints gathered at a crime scene, for example. In the real world, fingerprinting can assist in verification purposes. For example, banks and companies can have scanners to check an employee’s or client’s fingerprints before giving the individual access to private information. Also, these institutions can use said fingerprints for background checks before allowing a person to be part of a company or open an account. (RCMP, 2013)&nbsp.

What are some limitations of the selected low biometric? A commonly used low biometric is voice recognition. (McGuire, L., 2000) In the real world, voice recognition has been used by both individuals and corporations for security and verification. For example, in the 1994 movie Richie Rich, the young billionaire’s parents used a voice-recognition system to open their vault for the antagonist. This kind of biometric can be used together with fingerprinting that way it could ensure maximum reliability.

There may be a few problems with using just voice recognition software. For one, a person’s voice can change as a result of age or sickness. Another problem is that someone’s voice may be easily recorded and arranged in such a way that a person can speak and sound like another.

Its various underground movement and clandestine connections with similar entities from other parts of the world are vital in this composition. An analysis of significant events attributed to this Ireland-based dissident group prompted the student to underscore the undeniable impact it has on world security and on the containment of the trend of terrorism. The Oglaigh na hEireann or the Irish Republican Army (IRA) came into existence in the aim of Ireland’s unification and its liberation from the British rule.

Spearheaded by Michael Collins, from the remnants of the rebel forces dissolved after the 1916 Easter Rebellion, it was then primarily composed of Irish volunteers. The atrocious episode in Dublin on November 1920, known as the Bloody Sunday, was wreaked by the group as it’s seemingly ‘baptism of fire.’ The armed units fought the British troops during the 1919-1921 Irish War of Independence. The Sinn Fein Party became its major supporter and mother organization. In 1922, during the founding of the Irish Free State, IRA emerged as the fierce opposition influence to Ireland’s supremacy and the strongest worker for the separation of Northern Ireland.

The group was deemed responsible for the countless bombings, raids and street riots on both sides of the Irish border (Derkins, 2003). At first, the group gained popular support and seen as effective in its crusade, until former IRA sponsor Eamon De Valera succeeded the nation’s leadership and internal misunderstandings and dissensions occurred. Its violent exploits (which harbored the agitation of authorities) and pro-German stance during the Second World War caused the lessened popularity of the troop.

As a consequence of IRA’s suppression, it became a secret society with a number of split organizations. From the 1950s to the 1990s, the emanation of the Official IRA, the Real IRA and the Continuity IRA has been documented.&nbsp.

In other words, through immigration, some people acquire more fortune at the expense of others. For example, immigration may reduce the employment opportunities of the people in the immigrated countries. At the same time, many people believe that the rights of the people to work or stay anywhere in the world should not be controlled or prohibited in an advanced civilization like ours. In their opinion, the entire world should be considered as a single entity rather than dividing it into different regions or countries based on the culture or religion.

This paper briefly analyses the rights and wrongs of immigration with respect to ethical theories like Consequentialist and nonconsequentalist“A consequentialist theory judges the rightness or wrongness of an action based on the consequences that action has”. In other words, this theory is similar to utilitarianism and analyses things with respect to the consequences of actions. When we consider immigration through the lenses of the consequentialist theory of ethics we should analyze the consequences of immigration in order to decide whether immigration is a problem or a blessing.

Critiques strongly oppose the utility of both legal and illegal immigration. Both legal and illegal immigration are causing big problems to developed countries like America, England, Australia, Germany etc. It creates demographic imbalances in a country. For example, in Middle East, more than half of the population belongs to the immigrant community. Legal immigrants are entering a country either for professional or educational needs.&nbsp.

Despite the existence of rich sexual symbols in the ancient religions and cultures, there were also cultures that punished people for committing sexual acts and talking about sexuality as they considered it as taboo.&nbsp.Ancient Western societies had almost depicted sexuality as a taboo wherein it was considered to corrupt the very nature of human beings turning them into a bestial state. As a cure, rituals must be performed to clean-up the existence of sexuality (Nye, 1999, p. 2). Some of the rituals were performed during menarche as those girls were secluded under the supervision of the older women to teach the younger ones about the sexual norms in their society.

In other societies, women were not allowed to have sexual intercourse during their menstruation. Other rituals on sexuality involve childbirth as men were excluded during the child delivery while other societies force the husband to imitate the childbirth at the same time his wife does it. Also, circumcision is a sexual ritual for cleansing and proven to bring good hygiene for people backed by scientific studies (Siann, 1994, p. 120). In particular, Christianity had not tolerated the issue of sexuality as sex is only done within the concept of marriage and for procreation (Goss and Strongheart, 1997, p. 7). Perhaps the Christian church does not tolerate sex outside marriage as it may lead to more severe moral, personal, and societal problems like broken families, vices, and abuses.

The struggle in the issue of human sexuality had existed in the twentieth century as people thought that it is an unimportant topic for formal studies in the field of social sciences.&nbsp.

Write a 5 pages paper on role of white standards of beauty.

Write a 5 pages paper on role of white standards of beauty. Both the authors show how the characters are subjected to the established but dubious societal standards of beauty and are also pressured to conform to its ideals in different ways. As the standards of beauty are perceived through the skin color of the characters in both the novels, it induces them into losing their own culture and personal identity. The society’s rigid white standards of beauty pressure the individuals to either conform to it or try to adapt to it, and when individuals struggle to do that, it ultimately brings devastating effects on their lives.

Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye describes the longings of a young black girl, Pecola Breedlove, who struggles to endure in a society dominated by the white standards of beauty. She is constantly reminded of her black nature, which she assumes to be uglier, as perceived from the society’s standards. Pecola’s desire to be white with blue eyes is fueled by society’s notion of beauty standards. She aspires to get to the unreachable white standards of the society, which makes her life more miserable. “Pecola attempts to mediate the distance between the misperception and misrecognition of her body and the ideal of Mary Jane whiteness.” (Gaines). Her attempts to conform to the white standards of the society are the ultimate cause for the devastating effects in her life. Similarly, in The Black Notebooks Toi Derricotte presents the memoirs of her anguish and ambivalence as a black woman with white skin. Although her light-skinned and straight-haired appearance kind of gives ‘pass’ for her in the whites’ society, she is still lost with the inner dilemma that constantly urges her that she is black first. Derricotte’s experiences clearly show her inner struggles with the fact that she is accepted as someone, which she is not.&nbsp.

Write 5 pages with APA style on Divorce Harms Children.

Write 5 pages with APA style on Divorce Harms Children. Conflicts often lead to despair reflected through the child’s immaturity, poor performance at the school level, social segregation, poor level of cognitive development, and lack of confidence. Childhood as a formative period of human life bears immense importance for the future development of adulthood. It deserves a detailed discussion on the possible harmful effects on a child arising from a divorce of his parents. Furthermore, it is also interesting to note whether it bears any positive fruit for the child as well.

Divorce is a multifaceted problem and the level of its misdeed depends upon the associated individuals. In this era of price inflation, cost of living is kissing the zenith. In this circumstance, a divorce will always bring certain financial bottleneck for most of the individuals. For a single mother who is not working, it is hard to bring up her child with the present level of social security. Such a financial setback might lay hurdle in the progress of the child’s education and career building. Again, the financial bottleneck can get reflected through his clothing and toys or recreational tools. This brings in the certain level of envy towards his other mates. A child tends to understand and feel the world from his immediate surroundings and the people he has the closest access to. Hence the way he interprets the world and its people depends a lot on the kind of parenthood he gets. The level of insecurity that he is subject to from his very childhood might turn him into an introvert and also a kind of distrust gets embedded in his young heart.

A child with a single parent might find himself socially misfit since from the very beginning of childhood he distinguishes himself from others since he finds himself under the care of single parents, unlike many others who are getting the attention from both the father and the mother.

In the conceptual theories of materialism that Marx and Engel developed, the one-dimensional perception of reality stemming from materialism was developed into a multidimensional idea of existence. Materialism itself may dictate that a human being is simply a manifestation of physical matter and thus scientifically explained. Marxism took this ideology a step further into dialectical materialism which allowed for certain laws to govern such a concept. The law of opposites, for example, dictates that all things in nature have an opposite such as male and female. day and night.

Marxism fundamentally teaches that everything there is to know or understand can be explained scientifically, and thus his theories on dialectical materialism arose.Marx and Hegel also formulated the law of negation which basically stated that all things in nature acted at some point to negate themselves. For example, if a plant grows from a seed, experiences a life cycle, and then dies. it will have left its seed allowing for the birth of a new plant and so on. This is also true of humans. The law of transformation then states very much the same thing that Darwin’s law of evolution states.

Things change as a result of time and quantity. In other words, as a large quantity of something develops, it then develops qualitatively as well. Humans for example have evolved not only in number&nbsp.but in intelligence and efficiency.&nbsp. We have developed into a more functional and intelligent species just as all things which develop in number must also increase qualitatively as well, according to Marxism.&nbsp.Beyond even these basic laws of dialectical materialism, Marx and Engel are known for their communist theory which is not only a relatively common term today, but just as it is common it is equally misunderstood or stigmatized.
