I will pay for the following article Topic Selection Process. The work is to be 1 page with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Topic selection process As long as people live and work together, conflicts will always be there hence the relevance of this topic. I settled on conflict management as my topic.

How did you come to be interested in this topic. where and when did you first become aware of it?

Conflicts have been with us from time immemorial. Each one of us has had a conflict with another person (Goemans, 2000). I have always been interested with managing conflicts. I became aware of this issue while still young, and mediated between people with conflicts (Ackerman, 2003). Many of my childhood friends would make fun of it when I tried resolving their problems. My intention and hope is to see people live in harmony and work together. I wanted to come up with conflict management strategies which would help people live harmoniously and hence great achievements in work.

What were the key phrases, statements, or questions that provide you with search terms and where did these come from?

When I went to the internet and searched on conflict, the results were amazing. There were results on the definition of conflict, conflict management, and conflict resolution (Alice, 2003). Many topics on conflict were available including the causes of conflict, types of conflict, and conflict examples. Searching conflict management gives an interesting result about conflict management skills.

What is your initial sense about how much literature exists on your topic?

When I searched on the topic conflict management, a lot of articles came up. This shows the huge amount of literature available on the topic (Gleditsch, 2002). There are book in electronic form and also in print form which are available, on conflict management and resolution. The literature available is sufficient to complete my project.

Recognizing that the initial questions one typically presents on a given topic are not (yet) crafted to the level of specificity required for a research question—and these initial questions really just serve to get you into a particularly body of literature, what makes a good inquiry question?

In coming up with an inquiry question, one should consider a question which is interesting to the inquirer. The inquiry question should be an open research question. The question should give room for a number of answers.

Compose a 2500 words assignment on integral to new labors vision is the belief. Needs to be plagiarism free! It is said that in order to facilitate the growing population and to meet the demands of the population for a better and enhanced lifestyle. (Imrie, Raco, 2003). Urbanization of a city may be planned or natural.

Urban policy is basically a set of directions that a city follows in order to make various decisions regarding the city’s progress towards further urbanization. It relates to various rules regulating the flow of the resources in and out of the city, establishment or de-establishment of industries, communication networks, etc. (Imrie, Raco, 2003). It deals with very intricate details regarding every aspect of an urban area including the policies regarding the people migrating into the city and also of the people migrating out of the area. This movement of people is the basic criterion that defines the urbanization or de-urbanization of a city. In accordance with this inflow and outflow of the population all other urban policies of a city government are structured. (Geyer, 2009).

These policies include detailed structured policies regarding transportation systems, communication networks (phone lines, internet connections, etc.), infrastructure (buildings, commercial and residential areas, industrial areas, export production regions, ports, etc.) and many other areas of development in a city. (Geyer, 2009). It also deals with the regulations like licensing of various above-mentioned areas of urban planning (like licenses for conducting business, licenses for using resources, licenses for building infrastructure, etc.) and decides if there should be the requirement of licensing altogether or not. All in all, an urban policy regulates how a city is laid out, how it functions, who lives there and who does not, what business takes place in the society, how people communicate, etc. (Imrie, Raco, 2003).

Throughout times, the various ruling parties in Britain have been continuously implementing various newly defined&nbsp.urban policies.&nbsp.

Writing paper on containment as universal doctrine truman

I need some assistance with these assignment. containment as universal doctrine truman Thank you in advance for the help! It created a policy that tolerated communism in areas where it had already spread but used all means possible to prevent communism from any further expansion. Truman Doctrine was encountered with criticism especially by the USSR, and became the official foreign policy of the U.S, but with great consequences.

George Kennan, the father of containment, asserted that even though the United States was a strong and powerful state, it was not strong enough to conquer and or bring about change by itself. Therefore, the policy of containment was to be a universal policy. To do this, the United States adopted the Marshall Plan of funding states that had been financially crippled by the effects of world war two in return for their loyalty to resist communism. The Marshall Plan was a huge economic success that resulted in booming Western European Economies halting the progress of communism to the west. It led to the formation of the European Community that still exists today. The formation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was another universal front of the Truman Doctrine. NATO was formed to create a mutual defense organization that would support the signatories against military invasions. The joining of the treaty changed the United States foreign policy drastically from the isolationist attitude it held before World War Two. The doctrine of confinement became Truman’s foundation of the United States’ foreign policy (Gaddis 74).

In addition, the regime used the doctrine of containment as a universal doctrine through bankrolling states that were in financial meltdowns for their support to resist communism. The situation of Greece and Turkey highlights how the United States used the Truman doctrine to advance its course. England had become bankrupt and unable to support Greece any further. Since the United States was better financially, Truman mobilized congress to give financial aid to Greece.&nbsp.

Writing assignment on the direction of happiness

I need some assistance with these assignment. the direction of happiness Thank you in advance for the help! In the following graph, line A and line B refer to the subjective perception of a man’s happiness, which can be faulty also.

From a very subjective perspective, each of the modes of happiness, indicated by lines A and B, can be true for particular individuals. But they cannot be considered modes of happiness that are commonly perceived by all or most people since both are the excluded ends of the nature of happiness. Also though Nozich’s proposition about the nature of happiness is true to a great extent, his supposition of the excluded ends of happiness is, to a certain extent, faulty because the line “B” does not truly represent the subjective portions of happiness in its true sense. After all, his proposition about “the more” in the perception of happiness is fundamental in nature because his proposition about the subjective fills on the objective structure of happiness renders a sense of completeness to the nature of happiness.

In the abovementioned graph, lines A and B refer to the same amount of pleasure in opposite directions. While along with line A, happiness increases, it decreases along line B. Now Nozick argues that people will not choose both of them though they are equal. According to Nozick, the fact that people do not choose them equally is the “narrative direction.” Nozick assumes that most people will prefer A to B because the first line infers a positive “narrative direction” about the prospect of happiness. They will decline from B because it infers a negative prospect of happiness. In fact, though Nozich endeavors to assign any objective structure to happiness, both lines A and B are subjective because of this narrative direction. This preference essentially shows that people want that experience or perception of happiness should come upon a person in a certain patterned way. If happiness is the outcome of the pleasures of body and mind, then the way of being pleased is also an important factor.

Complete 7 pages APA formatted article: The Sex and Gender and how Society Views Them. Nowadays sex can also be linked to both function and sexual activity (Wilson 3). Both affect the views of people on sexuality. In the study, the sexuality in focus is the issue being faced by the gay community and how the gays can cope up with the standards of masculinity as they do not adhere to those regulations. The books entitled “The Velvet Rage” and “Manhood in America” are the two works to be compared and contrasted in the succeeding paragraphs regarding the gays and the masculinity standards.

The author of “Velvet Rage” is Alan Downs. Downs spent his childhood in Shreveport, Louisiana with his parents named Don and Eunice who was an engineer and a housewife respectively. Psychology captivated him at Louisiana State University after his first-class and later on, he pursued Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska. Before he became a psychologist, he worked for Hewlett-Packard, while writing several business books. Later on, he realized that psychology is the love of his life, so he pursued to become a psychologist. Currently, he serves as the director of the Eight Northern Indian Pueblo Council Behavioral Health located at Santa Fe, New Mexico (Downs 81). Downs wrote the book “The Velvet Rage” to point out how shame drives the lives of gays, as their existence is unacceptable to the majority of the society. Sometimes they hide their true identity through their muscled bodies. The pain and shame they feel and experience throughout childhood are both brought up until their adulthood, as they think they are inferior to straight men. They dare to avoid the shameful feeling, when they are adults, by being in rage secretly to their bitter memories and extremely working to excel in arts, fashion, and success. Through the vast experience of Downs and psychological researches, gay readers will be able to cope up with their extreme tendencies and understand the ways on how to control their lives.

Create a thesis and an outline on Kantianism and Utilitarianism. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide.

I need help creating a thesis and an outline on Kantianism and Utilitarianism. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. This paper will focus on evaluating a euthanasia case of Brophy, using utilitarianism and Kantianism. Brophy is a patient in persistent vegetative state, whose wife expressed the intent of carrying out passive euthanasia.Kantianism. Immanuel Kant described a deontological ethical philosophy titled as ‘Kantianism’. He made it evident that in his view, duty, good will, and moral worth were critical aspects in determining of the action taken. In his view, one could only settle on morally worth decisions when guided by goodwill and duty. He opined that duty was the only reason that should motivate an ethical action (Abel 24). According to him, human beings are moral agents that should use reasoning while making ethical decisions. He highlighted that certain maxims were critical as guidelines of making ethical decisions. These principles were the product and reason and were namely duty, goodwill, and categorical imperative. Goodwill is a critical moral maxim because he highlighted that without goodwill, any positive trait or action does not qualify to be good (46). Therefore, the will determining why an individual carries out a certain action cannot receive underestimation in deontology. He advanced his views to highlight that the only way in which an individual could exhibit good will was through taking action out of duty.In Kant’s definition, good will denotes the ability of human beings in taking decisions based on principles.
