Provide a 1 page analysis while answering the following question: Piagets four stages of cognitive development. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide

Piaget’s Four Stages of Cognitive Development Piaget’s Four Stages of Cognitive Development Sensorimotor Stage At this stage of itsdevelopment, the child gains knowledge from sensory experiences as well as manipulation of objects. In this case, the child developed a realization that the pet fish belong to them because it had been manipulating the pet for some time. According to Piaget’s propositions, the child developed a feeling that the pet fish was permanently in its life. There is chance that the child thought that the pet had a name because it was a separate individual just like the child itself.

Preoperational Stage

The child at this level learns through pretend play but still struggles to make logic as well as understanding other people’s perceptions. Therefore, the child developed two perceptions of the pet fish. the first is the existence of the fish and the second is that it was alive. However, the child was unaware of the feelings that its father attached to the presence of the fish.

Concrete Operational Stage

The child at this level develops a logical thinking but tends to be less egocentric. It also acquires views about how unique its thoughts are far away from other people’s feelings as well as opinions. Therefore, the child has a feeling that the pet fish is dead because it is motionless and that somebody must have killed it.

Formal Operational Stage

The child has an increased logic, reasoning and the full knowledge of abstract ideas. At this stage, possible solutions to problems are formulated, and the child can perceive the world around them scientifically. Therefore, the child has a concrete feeling that there is somebody who must have killed the pet fish. The child will, therefore, develop a sense that the father did not kill the fish because he had been away from the room for long. Therefore, the development of the child’s cognitive skills makes it able to make logical and rational thoughts over time.

write an article on Mandatory Voting in Brazil: The Case for Abolition. It needs to be at least 2000 words.

Every literate Brazilian who is aged between 18 and 70 is required by law to vote in general elections. On the other hand, it is optional for citizens of 16-17 years, those aged over 70, and illiterate Brazilians of any age (Power 98). However, providing a valid reason for not taking part in an election is accepted. Such reasons may include sickness and absence from the country on the day of voting. Otherwise, the person who declines to vote at an election without permission is prevented from securing a passport, among other restrictions until they have settled their case in an electoral court.

This paper contends that Brazil’s system of mandatory voting at general elections is obsolete and should be abolished in favor of voluntary voting. It seeks to defend this position in view of the just concluded general elections. The paper first gives a historical background of mandatory voting globally and in Brazil. The next section of the thesis provides an overview of the debate between compulsory versus voluntary voting around the world. The section that follows, “The Need to Abolish Mandatory Voting in Brazil: The Justification” demonstrates why the country should abandon mandatory voting and switch to a voluntary voting system as is the case in most countries around the world. This part constitutes the bulk of the paper. Finally, the paper concludes that an affirmation of the need to make the big shift to voluntary voting.

The world over, mandatory voting is not a new invention. Ancient Athenians practiced it (Power 97). They required every citizen to engage in public affairs. However, attending the assembly was left to the discretion of an individual. However, occasionally, social action was taken against those who persisted in not taking part. In addition, the agora needed a quorum of about 6,000 people.&nbsp.

Compose a 1750 words assignment on instructional technology as an important thing in education.

The paper defines the meanings of instructional Technology. It illustrates all domains and Sub-domains in an informational system. It further lays emphasis on the military as the learning environment. It further looks at instructional tools available for use.

Instructional technology definition relates to the body developed for years by the AECT. This theory relates to the development of a curriculum of education in the field of educational technology. It also relates to a specification on the knowledge base of a particular field. In relation to the field of instructional technology, one can state that it consists of the definition of domains. It refers to the provision of documentation that provides definitions of subdomains and domains (Quain, Scales & Whithem, 2014). Therefore, considering the subject of instructional technology certain aspects comes to observation. It provides an in-depth examination of the knowledge bases of systems. Another aspect of the field relates to its interactions with research.

Its interactions with research provide reasons for the development of standards. The Standards’ formulation in the relation of Instructional pegs its truth on certain information and instructions. Such standard document comes because of various committee meetings’ views by the AECT (Cennamo & Ertmer, 2013). In definition by the AECT committee structure, Instructional Technology is the practice of design, theory, and resources for learning, management and in the evaluation of processes. It refers to a discipline that specialises on certain techniques. It also refers to various efforts used in making education easier (Quain et al., 2014). Its theory is broad while it does not border largely on scientific theory. Its theory consists of principles, constructs as well as concepts. It also acts as a data bank for the prepositions for the body of knowledge.

submit a 1250 words paper on the topic Potential Political System of Afghanistan.

. As such, it is important to understand fully the status and nature of Afghan political climate and culture before imposing new or improved political systems that will be more acceptable and in-tune with the local population’s beliefs and interests.

Afghanistan as a country has always been composed of various ethnic communities living in separation with each other due to geographic landmarks (e.g. landforms, mountains) and their individual ideologies and beliefs in their own factions, only having Islam as the main religion and their common links with one another (Katzman, 2014). These differences and spatial separations created natural rifts between and among communities or tribes by claiming that each one of them has the divine right to rule, causing them to become divided which in effect prevents full assimilation of all groups into democratic governance by a centralized government (Shahrani, 2011). However, despite the idea that Afghanistan has never experienced any form of democracy during pre-modern and modern eras, it is surprising to note that amidst various political struggles the country was actually under a successful democratic reign during the 1960’s up to the early 1970’ under a parliamentary system ruled by a constitutional monarch. This political setup was made possible by the government providing support to the informal power structures that have existed within the long history of the country. These power structures have hierarchies that include respected figureheads at various levels of the society: from ethnic, regional, district, village and clan levels of authority, and have provided peace and stability within the widely-varying groups of communities in Afghanistan (Katzman, 2014).

Do an independently guided tour of news and media coverage of the monolith found in Utah. Consult a range of news and social media sources to construct a timeline, but, more importantly, to track and analyze the different audiences and forms of interest in this object.

Part 1: Do an independently guided tour of news and media coverage of the monolith found in Utah. Consult a range of news and social media sources to construct a timeline, but, more importantly, to track and analyze the different audiences and forms of interest in this object. Be sure to do a search on whatever social media you typically use, and, try to depart from major news media outlets in your search. Summarize your findings, highlighting details that you find especially telling or interesting.

Part 2: In a thoughtful way, compare the monolith to at least one other artwork from this class (or, learn about John McCracken and compare to his work). Think about materials, placement, time period, intent (for the work we discussed). Be as specific as you can.

Part 3: Finally, why do you think this work captured worldwide attention? What do you think people found interesting? What do you make of the current outcome of the work? If you had an opportunity to see the object would you? If you had the ability to remove it, would you?

Margaret House, CEO of Bounce Fitness and the Board of Directors are keen to have the four Centres registered with Fitness Australia (http://www.fitness.org.au). They feel that standards required to be met as a registered fitness centre would not only ensure the credibility of the organisation in the eyes of the public but provide goals for the Centre Managers and teams.

Task 2: Report and Presentation

General instructions:

This assessment task requires you to use the simulated business Bounce Fitness and its additional Resources. You can access these on Canvas page for Task 2.

Case Study

Margaret House, CEO of Bounce Fitness and the Board of Directors are keen to have the four Centres registered with Fitness Australia (http://www.fitness.org.au). They feel that standards required to be met as a registered fitness centre would not only ensure the credibility of the organisation in the eyes of the public but provide goals for the Centre Managers and teams.

Registration will require meeting the Code of Conduct for the state in which each Centre is located and ensuring that all trainers meet, or immediately undertake training to meet certain standards.  Information about the registration can be obtained by going to the Fitness Australia website and clicking on the Registration and Policies and Guidelines tabs. The Codes of Conduct for each State can be found on the Policies and Guidelines tab, Business Principles and Guidelines section, if you scroll down the page.

The minimum educational qualification required by Bounce Fitness for all trainers is the Certificate III in Fitness Instructing and all trainers must hold this to continue to work as a trainer of classes and individual clients. At this point in time, this has not been consistently applied. In Cairns all are qualified, in Brisbane two need the basic training, two also in Sydney and in Melbourne there is one. It is intended under the change management initiative that all trainers, once they have completed the basic training will continue to pursue further training, the Certificate IV and Diploma, annually as personal development.

Bounce Fitness will pay for the training fees and other incidentals such as textbook requirements and provide one paid hour per week for study leave. Bounce Fitness will also reimburse travel and accommodation for compulsory study attendance sessions.

It is expected that the change management process will be smooth if adequate measures are taken and the process is well managed. The major resistance will come from the five trainers who do not have this qualification and have learned through experience. They do not feel that a qualification is necessary. They have indicated that they are not keen to participate in the further training initiative.

If the whole standardisation process is not managed carefully, there is a potential for dissatisfaction and all Centres may not comply with the standardised procedures. This is a major concern for the Executive; hence your recommendations are crucial.

You have been asked to investigate the feasibility, benefits and practicality of entering such a relationship with Fitness Australia and make recommendations. Prepare a report for submission to the CEO and Board.
