A review of this system is targeted at enhancing how the company handles its employees’ remuneration and other work packages.

In this report, the chosen system for review is the payroll system, whose investigations are expected to provide a summation of the entire accounting system that is in operation in the organisation. A study of Inkwell’s payroll system shall entail an in-depth examination of the organisational activities such as the tax management, tracking of taxes that have been withheld, analysis of the record of hours employees work, and a record of the paychecks issued to employees (Bragg, 2006.p.125-129).

To assess the payroll system being used by the company with the motive to provide recommendations for its improvement in efficient employee management. The payroll system, being a core accounting system is essential to the management as it streamlines the organisation’s ability to stay on top of its regulatory and legal responsibilities. Therefore, this report shall seek to identify the weaknesses within the organisation’s payroll system, and determine the needs that require improvement. Therefore, the report shall outline the cost-benefits analysis of implementing the payroll system’s improvements in Inkwell Limited (Bragg, 2003.p.85-92).

It is expected that as a result of this review, it would be possible for the payroll system being used to effectively process payroll reports that can be used to make tax withholding summaries. The covering of this system’s evaluation in this report has been achieved as part of an accounting assessment, which is part of the AAT level 4 accounting.

2.1 Inkwell Limited is a Limited Company with a larger section of its operations majored in the private sector. However, its specialisation in the re-manufacturing or re-cycling of used laser toner and printer cartridges.

The subject matter of metaphysics is considered as “being as such’ referring to that which cannot be changed. It also includes the first two causes of things that will never change.

This is the thesis of metaphysics and is considered the defensible statement of the subject matter of the so-called physics. Metaphysics seeks to explain the relationship between the body and the mind and the freedom of will as well the personality identity over time. In the explanation of the relationship between the body, mind and freedom of will, it denies that there are first causes that cause the relationship to change. However, the body, mind and freedom of free will are beyond that which is bound in the study of physics. Such kind of denial is certainly a metaphysical thesis in the current sense that the relationship is bound to change. In reality, everything changes and nothing that does not change. However, other philosophers explain that, a special group of things that ought not to change i.e. how the body and the mind functions will never change. Examples of subjects and statements that are considered metaphysical include “Essence precedes existence, existence, in reality, is larger and greater than in the understanding alone” and “being is logic, not a real predicate. ‘ such kinds of subjects are beyond the physical world and are bound not to be victims of change.2

The concept metaphysics is coined from the Greek word meaning beyond i.e. study of that which is unknown beyond physics. The prefix “meta” means beyond indicating that the scope will come after the chapters of physics. The subject is also referred to as the chronological order among the philosophical studies. For example, what is studied after mastery of the science concepts that ought to deal with the physical world and cannot be changed? As a discipline, metaphysics is a central part of academic inquiry of facts that are beyond the physical world as well as scholarly education even before the existence of Aristotle. It is a unique science and the physical elements are considered less important than other main formal subjects of mathematics, physical science music and poetics.

The method was limited in that it did not identify males and females from different occupations. The data was collected generally from respondents without restrictions and this may have affected the validity and the reliability of the information.

This survey was done among females and males age 15-45 years to get their views on this new trend in the cosmetic industry. 51% of females in this study revealed the importance of plastic surgery in Korean society. 50% of females acknowledged the idea of plastic surgery as a way of maintaining relationships and getting advantages in getting employment opportunities thereby showing a greater correlation to the importance of surgery in modern Korean society. Moreover, 49% of females embraced the idea of plastic surgery and accepted that they get attracted to those who have undergone the surgeries. Even though only 40% of the females revealed their parent’s love for the surgery, but it was quite evident that a greater percentage would have resulted since some of the respondents declined to reveal their parent’s perception of the idea of plastic surgery. In addition, 50% of teenagers argued that plastic surgery improves relationships, friendships, and self-confidence. Lastly, a greater percentage of females regarded South Korea as the largest world market for cosmetics.

According to these findings of the study, male perceptions of plastic surgery decreased dramatically compared to those of females. Only 30% of males revealed the importance of plastic surgery in modern Korean society. However, 50% of males associated with plastic surgery with employment showing a stronger similarity to the females’ perception. Moreover, 50% of males regarded cosmetic plastic surgery to strengthen friendships and relationships. Last, only twenty percent of the males revealed their parent’s love for the idea of plastic surgery. Moreover, 20% of males viewed South Korea as the largest market for cosmetics.

Therefore social identity of a man isn’t only a vital representation of his/her self, but it is also a medium that significantly contributes to a knowledge base that others can instantly access to have a general idea of their orientation towards conflicts and other relevant issues. The social construction of human identity thus becomes the most important element which significantly impacts people’s lives.

Construction of social structures and social identities are often influenced by hordes of issues, which are defined by individual ideology, group representation, professional competencies, intercultural compulsions, etc. which facilitate better understanding and access to networking with organizations and groups to avail the emerging opportunities for their personal and professional growth. Thus, giving rise to the behavioral pattern of the people that directly correlates with the values and value system of the person and his/her environment.

There are various means through which persons imbibe the values that they carry all through their life. Some of them may be through the socio-religious culture that they follow, while others might be acquired through changing paradigms of the work environment that is in perpetual influx. A person identified as a student, as American or as an artisan, etc., can proclaim certain privileges that are associated with that particular identity.

‘Identities are produced in a social context, but through individuals thinking about what links them to the social world… Symbols and representations are important in the production of identities. This is how we signal our identities to others and how we know which people we identify with’ (Woodward, 2004, p.12).

Marx identified four different types of alienation to which workers are exposed in a capitalist system. On the other hand, Plato defended such a system in which people are divided by classes and there is a total dictatorship based on intelligence and merit. The following discussion will enumerate myriad different levels on which Marx and Plato differ from each other to illustrate the reality of this claim that “rule by the best reflects human ignorance and generates power relations in a society which leads to conflict and survival of the fittest.” If Plato and Marx are compared against each other on grounds of psychological issues like social alienation and conflict, it becomes clear that Plato’s ideal of society is flawed and generates chaos. The following discussion will serve to prove this argument.

As societies grow in size, increasingly complex patterns emerge and competition for survival gets tougher. This leads to the result that only the best or the fittest groups find it easier to survive and maintain a good life standard. Such is the philosophy presented by Marx. In contrast, Plato argued that an ideal society is that in which the political authority is granted to those who are the best or have the most power. Plato defended an aristocratic system. In such a socio-political system, an imbalance of resources occurs and conflict is born. In contrast to Plato who emphasized bigger units of society, Marx focused on individuals. Elaborating on Marxian ideas, I emphasize that the basic most aim of classes in society is to generate fierce competition for limited resources. Out of this competition are two classes born, the capitalist class and the working class. In contrast to Plato who argued that an ideal state or polis is characterized by the necessary division of labor, Marx claimed that in such a system, the working class is most often manipulated by the capitalist class. This happens due to the unequal distribution of wealth which is the established source of a broad range of psychological problems. Unequal distribution of wealth creates a gigantic rift between classes in a state. Focus shifts away from fundamental political notions like equality when people with better connections also known as elitists&nbsp.are preferred over the rest.
