Write a 8 pages paper on the united states and arab-israeli peace negotiations.

Several of these have been victorious, comprising those involving Egypt with Israel as well as Israel with Jordan. however a resolution has still not been attained in the underlying disagreement – the clash involving the Israelis as well as Palestinians (Lenczowski, 2010).

Below are the major peace proposals ever since 1968 and what took to them.

Settlement 242 was enacted in 1968 and covers the standard that has controlled most of the succeeding peace arrangements – the exchange of property for harmony. The settlement required the “removal of Israeli military forces from colonies occupied in the latest clash”, and “esteem for as well as recognition of the independence, national integrity along with political sovereignty of each nation in the region and their right to stay in harmony within protected and renowned boundaries free from fears or actions of force”.

The resolution is well-known for the ambiguity, in English, of its core stage regarding an Israeli elimination. it state simply “from colonies”. The Israelis alleged this did not essentially imply all colonies. however Arab mediators claimed that it did. It was stated beneath Chapter four of the United Nations Agreement, under which Defence Council Settlements are proposals, not below Chapter six, which denotes they are commands. Numerous peace recommendations refer to 242. Settlement 338 is typically correlated to it (Lenczowski, 2010).

There were numerous peace projects after the 1968 fighting but nothing happened until after the 1973 Yom Kippur or October War. There followed a fresh atmosphere for calm, as shown by a celebrated trip to Jerusalem by the President of Egyptian, Aiwa Sadat, in June 1978. United States commander-in chief- of the armed forces Jimmy Carter took advantage of on the fresh atmosphere and had an appointment with Sadat President as well as the Prime Minister of Israel, Meacham Begin, for discussions at the presidential escort at Base Camp of David closer to Washington. The discussions lasted for 13 days and ended in two accords (Lenczowski, 2010).

The foremost was known as “An Agenda for Harmony in the Middle East.&nbsp.&nbsp.

write an article on Long-Term Feasibility of Renewable Energy Sources.

Unlike coal, which can be transported from one area to another, all of these sources have to be used at the site where they are found. Thirdly, although we have made great strides in our ability to harness the energy from the sun, wind, or water, our current state of technology still does not allow us to do so efficiently enough. The energy wasted in the process far exceeds the energy we actually receive from these renewable sources. For these reasons, my conclusion is that solar, wind, and hydraulic sources of renewable energy cannot be a feasible and permanent alternative to coal.

Issue: Whether universal health care would have any real advantage to Americans.

Position: Universal health care would have real advantages to Americans.

Premise 1: Private insurance companies can deny insurance for pre-existing conditions.

Premise 2: Health care costs are immense and impossible to pay off in full by most Americans, especially if they have no insurance.

Premise 3: The cost of providing health care to the increasing numbers of uninsured Americans, at emergency rooms or other available settings, costs the government billions of dollars every year.

Preexisting conditions, like congenital heart disease or Type I diabetes, can be grounds for refusal of health insurance by private insurance companies. This leads to a growing number of people who either are uninsured or have inadequate coverage. The costs of routine visits to a doctor, let alone life-saving procedures or long term medical care, are immense and can be impossible to pay off in full by most of the Americans. Thus, there is no regular and monitored access to health care for a growing number of people. Emergency rooms are available to uninsured people if they require urgent medical care, but these visits are not free. Neither do they include continued monitoring? The costs incurred by the government for providing aid to uninsured people run into billions of dollars. Providing some kind of basic health insurance for all American citizens would probably cost the government a lot less, in the long run. Thus, I conclude that universal health care would have numerous advantages to Americans.

Create a 5 pages page paper that discusses gender in the workplace

. One may argue that these figures are synonymous with technical fields. Activities such as aircraft maintenance, traffic control as well as aeromedicine, and avionics are still quite male-oriented. Women in the UAE have previously dominated service-related jobs such as retail, hospitality, and banking. Regardless, the rate of growth of participation of both males and females is increasing. Women’s percentage growth rates are however much greater than their male counterparts (Malek, 2013).

In the aviation industry, pilots are expected to leave the country in order to conduct training. Several UAE families object to this departure, more so when the concerned individuals are female. This process of seeking permission from one’s kinsmen may be a stumbling block for certain women who need to make work decisions quickly. Men may not suffer from the same stereotype at the workplace (Harrington-Snell, 2013).

Work conditions seem to be designed to accommodate men because female’s needs have not been taken into consideration. Persons who are expecting children are only entitled to 45 days of maternal leave, which is quite inadequate for these individuals. Furthermore, daycare facilities are few and far between in aviation organizations. While the UAE government has stated that it will support the provision of family-friendly workplaces, few organizations in the country are yet to ratify this policy (Swan, 2010).

During training and preparation for entry into airline careers, men and women alike receive equal support from the government as well as their families. Since this industry is still relatively young, it is prudent to encourage as many people as possible to enter the sector regardless of their gender. Colleges such as the Emirate Aviation College are known for the active support of all their air traffic controllers or pilots in pursuance of their careers whole-heartedly.

Create a 5 pages page paper that discusses death is more universal than life.

When we consider something, it frequently happens that we can’t give any definition to it, but we always can say what it isn’t. The same happens with the concept of life, as many philosophers have been arguing on the matter of the notion of life and its attributes. however, the only notion that seems to be the most acceptable lies in negation. Thus life is not dead and this is the only definition that everyone would agree with. The problem in defining life lies in the fact that life has multiple implementations and manifestations, so no one can definitely say that life is this or that. Hence, we can’t say that life has obligatory attributes like, for example, motion, because there are things and living creatures in this life that don’t move.

Although life doesn’t have any distinctive absolute attributes, it obligatory has an ending which is death. Unlike life, death has a definite notion, which means the end of life. Even though these ends of lives might happen in different ways, still they all will be the end. Perhaps, the difference between life and death (notwithstanding these two notions are opposite) in fact lies in different levels of consideration. Life is a process of existing. hence, as far as this is a process that contains multiple other processes that are the parts of life, it is impossible to give one definition to the combination of processes called “life”. On the contrary, death is the last destination of life and nothing but this. It is the terminus ed Quem (stop point) of the process of life, which catches up with everyone and everything.

The truth of life is universal and it is in the fact that whatever happens and whoever lives, everything eventually dies. This idea is perfectly described in the book of Ecclesiastes, who claims that he had gone through a lot and had seen many things in his life, however, he realized that although people can live different lives and they indeed can be wise and fools, but all of them die and this is inevitable for everything that exists (The New Jerusalem Bible, Eccles. 2. 15-16).

Complete 8 pages APA formatted article: Syrian: Civil War.

The amazing thing is that Syria also happens to be an Arab nation that has immense historical and cultural significance. The topography of Syria is richly endowed with fertile and green plains, expansive deserts, and mountains. In an ethnic and religious context, Syria indeed happens to be a multicultural and multiethnic nation. Though Sunni Arabs happen to be a religious and ethnic majority in Syria, still Syria is also the home to various other religious and ethnic groups like Shia Muslims, Christians, Turks, Kurds, Armenians, and Yezidi.3 The multicultural and multi-religious demography of Syria if on the one side makes it a culturally rich nation, on the other side the ethnic and religious plurality of Syria makes it vulnerable to ethnic conflicts and violence. Syria is a nation with an unstable and tumultuous past, a trend which is largely reflected in its present chaotic political and strategic situation. Thereby, the current political uncertainty in Syria has the potential to jeopardize the peace in the neighboring Arab nations also, not to mention its ramifications regarding the Arab-Israel conflict.

Syria as a modern Arab nation, gained its freedom from the French colonial rule in the year 1946.4 Yet, the sad thing is that Syria always had more than ample share of political unrest and instability. Much of such political instability in the past 60 years could be attributed to the divergent interests and intentions of an array of ethnic groups and communities that constitute modern-day Syria. The other thing is that historically speaking, varied Western colonial powers did prefer to set these ethnic groups against each other to influence the local politics in the Middle East. President Nasser of Egypt unified Syria with Egypt and the country remained so for only three years.5 A military coup did away with the unification of Syria with Egypt and subsequently, the pan-Arab&nbsp.Baath party gained control of Syria in the year 1963.

Compose a 500 words assignment on jane goodall what separates us from the apes.

Man and Chimpanzees Scientists studying evolution theories prove the relationship between man and apes. According to theories of evolution, man and apes had common origins. The theory forms the basis of Goodall’s TED talk. Goodall probes the diverse cultures that exists between humans and apes such as the chimpanzees. She bases her findings from Ecuador, Tanzania and Japan among other places in the world. Goodall brings out the cultural behaviour of the people of Ecuador while making comparison to those of chimpanzees.

From Goodall’s findings, there are humans who have paints on their faces in the Ecuador tropical rain forest. They also had feathers in their headdresses. Noteworthy is that these humans fought to keep their way of life. They protected their uncontaminated land and maintained their culture. Surprisingly, they were enthusiastic to acquire knowledge of new things including the use of computers and solar panels to pump water up to the villages. Goodall’s findings were innovative than any other form of research on humans and apes.

According to Goodall, both chimpanzee and humans can use technology. The local tribe in Ecuador struggles to keep up with the new technology (Goodall 1). This is depicted form the chief with his headdress using a laptop. The same technology is applicable in educating non-human animals. This is evident in the case of Ai that shows fascination with her laptop. Whenever Ai had an awful score, she immediately starts again and tries. Similarly, this is a major character among humans. Humans tend to repeat things over again when they make mistakes. According to Goodall’s findings, chimpanzees can adapt to the culture of using technology similar to the tribes in Ecuador forests. Ai is a chimpanzee that can use a computer, for instance.

Humans use language to communicate. Language use, however, varies from Japanese, English and Chinese among other groups. Similarly, the chimpanzees also have their own language used for communication. For instance, they salute each other using particular signs. Chimpanzees, therefore, use sign language like human beings (Goodall 1). Humans in Ecuador have devices that simplify their work and make it easy. They use the solar panel to pump water to their homes, for example. This eases work for women since they do not have to fetch water manually. The chimpanzees’ also have their own way to ease work. Notably, chimpanzees use grass to aid in pulling insect from the holes before they feed on them.

Besides their linkages, Goodall notes one major difference between humans and chimpanzees. Contrary to chimpanzees, humans cover their bodies using clothing. In the tropical rain forest, for instance, the local community members have headdresses to cover themselves. Chimpanzees, on the other hand, walk uncovered.

In conclusion, Goodall argues that humans and apes exhibit similarities on several bases. Apes demonstrate the ability to learn and do similar things to humans. Goodall proves that apes can use simple technology to ease their work and have sign language, as well. Humans can also do this just like the apes. However, there is a major difference in the sense that human technology is more complex than that used by apes.

Complete 5 pages APA formatted article: Types of Political Ideology.

Political ideology is largely concerned with the struggle for political power and the means to achieve that power. More specifically a political ideology is “more or less coherent set of ideas that provides the basis for organized political action, whether this is intended to preserve, modify or overthrow the existing system of power” (Political Ideologies I 5).

The ideologies of Liberalism, Communism are considered left wing and the ideologies of Conservatism and Fascism are considered right wing. ‘The Right’ wing endorse monarchy and ‘The Left’ emphasizes the removal of aristocracy and monarchy.

Liberalism: Liberalism is a widely prevalent ideology today. Liberalism originated in the 18th century during the ‘Age of Enlightenment’. John Locke is considered to be the ‘founding father of liberalism. The liberalism endorses individual freedom and equality and opposes the ideas of absolute monarchy, divine rights of kings, hereditary aristocracy and established the religion.

In broad sense liberalism is a political ideology that emphasizes individual liberty, equality, civil rights and freedom of thought, speech, and religion. Liberalism has many forms. The classical liberalism states that there should be little or no interference of the government in the economy and the market should be totally free. It believes in the abolition of state protection of the individual. The modern liberalism believes that total free market results in the accumulation of wealth in the hands of few with the vast majority of people living in poverty. So the government should interfere to prevent this scenario. The modern liberalism states that civil rights are more important to individuals as compared to economic rights.

American Revolution (1776) gave birth to the first liberal government in America after dismissing monarchy. French Revolution that ended monarchy in France was also led by liberal ideology. Liberalism spread quickly in the West.

Compose a 1250 words assignment on individuals with autism cannot learn new skills

On the other hand, autistic children feel challenging to operate on their own and require continuous assistance to learn new things. However, the learning potential and learning capability of autistic individuals can be improved using some effective treatments and therapies. There are different myths about Autism that can be proved correct or incorrect. The myth selected for review for this paper is that individuals with Autism cannot learn new skills. Scholarly journals will be used to support and refute the myth. At the end of the article, the findings will be summarized, and a recommendation will be given about the myth discussed in the paper.

Support for the Myth

Autism is a behaviorally defined medical problem characterized by qualitative impairments in an individual’s ability to interact, image, and communicate (Baird, Cass, & Slonims, 2003). This statement shows that Autism is a big problem as people with Autism cannot interact with other people around them in the way normal individuals do it. The main symptoms of Autism, which determine the presence of Autism in a child, include poor eye contact, less interaction with family members, inability to speak a single word for a long time after birth, and inability to make non-verbal gestures (Baird, Cass, & Slonims, 2003). These symptoms show that individuals with Autism have some sort of social isolation emotions that hinder their ability to interact with others appropriately. Their mind and feelings are attached to some particular things because of which their learning skills and abilities do not increase. As a result of this, they feel it difficult to learn new skills, whether they are social skills, judgment skills, or cognitive skills.

Another scholarly reference that supports the myth that autistic individuals cannot learn new skills is that people with Autism show repetitive patterns of behaviours. As Wing (1996) states, “Autistic spectrum disorders share a triad of impaired social interaction, communication, and imagination, associated with a rigid, repetitive pattern of behaviour” (p. 327). This statement again supports the myth as it terms the behaviours and actions of autistic individuals as a repetitive pattern of behaviours. Repetition occurs only when a person finds it challenging to learn new skills or new knowledge regarding anything.&nbsp.
