The early eighties were called the golden age of gaming industry as space invaders developed by Taito set new benchmark in gaming industry in terms of revenue. At the same period the home gaming console industry was also blooming with the advent of personal computing. Other major highlight of this decade is the release of Super Mario by Nintendo. During nineties arcade games saw a decline and paved way for home game consoles. Also at this point of time handhelds were becoming popular because of its ease to carry around and play but declined before the end of nineties. From mid-nineties saw a major transition in several aspects such as the games became three dimensional from two dimensional and also CD ROM’s started to replace the traditional cartridges. Popular and powerful gaming consoles like PlayStation were released by Sony.2010 saw Nintendo emerging as leaders based upon software revenues followed by Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Sony, and Microsoft respectively. On the other side in gaming consoles arena Sony with its PlayStation series and Microsoft with its Xbox series of consoles are competing for each other fiercely for leadership. A separate genre of games which were less in complexity flourished during this period after associating it with social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. Also with the advancement of mobile phone technology several gaming applications were developed for advanced gaming and multimedia phones. Nokia introduced N-gage series mobiles with an in-house built gaming platform which did not take of as expected. At present days with the introduction of motion-sensing mobile phones, more motion sensing games are becoming popular.

The new motion sensor technology detects the entire body movement and provides it as inputs for the game. Using these technology users can engage themselves in virtual games physically as in real life.&nbsp.

If a country faces the problem of food shortage and other countries extend aid for reducing the food shortage, this situation hallmarks the concept of need. On the other hand, right is something that can be claimed and that must be extended by others. As a result, it can be extracted that globally humans have the right to claim for their part of share and right in the process of development. And it is this approach that is gaining momentum in many parts of the world as the United Nations, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), European Union and other international organizations have already acknowledged the validity of this approach (Ussar, 2011).

This is the main benefit that this approach has a participatory approach for extending the ambit of development to the needy classes of society (Gilbert, 2014). In the traditional development process, only the rich have been allowed to avail the benefits of development in which all types of basic human needs are easily provided to the rich classes. However, thanks to the HRBA, in the process of development, some part of that development can be provided to the poor, who are unable to avail these basic necessities. In addition, through this process, the poor will be in a better position to contribute to the development process as well. For example, if children of poor family have been given right to avail education of an international repute and all educational expenses are borne by the international rich countries and donor agencies as well, after a few years, the same children can become scientist, who invent new drug to cure the disease of HIV and AIDS. In other words, the rich countries and donor agencies have not only given right to a poor family but they have also enabled them to participate in the war against HIV and AIDs which are the main hurdle against global growth and development as a considerable amount of funds are allocated to control the damage of such deadly diseases.&nbsp. &nbsp. &nbsp. &nbsp.

The traditional family structure, which consisted of a married couple and children, declined after World War II. American families took diverse families, from single parents, stepparents, unmarried partners to same-sex partners and multi-generations. While for Japanese Americans, kinship’s patriarchal pattern changed to a stem pattern of shared responsibility within the partners and inheritance for both sons and daughters. The gender structure of the Philippines, in contrast to that of Japan, Korea, and China, became more egalitarian while kinship became bilateral. The older men from Southeast Asian countries lost their elderly traditional roles by which they were responsible for making important decisions, solve problems, and adjudicate quarrels, etc. Moreover, fathers’ status reduced, as children started being more responsible and started earning. On the other hand, women learned more about their rights and protection from abuse and discovered that they could also provide income to the family by selling their intricate needlework. The historical causes for this structural change trace back to World War II when the war uncertainty brought many young couples into the circle of marriage, and that too in a rush. When they returned from the war, they started families immediately. As compared to the previous generations, women relatively bore more children and in quicker succession. this turned out to be the single largest generation in the US history, famously known as the ‘baby boom generation.’ Moreover, the couples who had rushed into marriage during the wartime went their separate ways, and the divorce rates considerably inclined during the post-war era (the 1950s to 1960s).

The family breakups forced&nbsp.the children (of the divorced couples) to go through bitter challenges, who grew up questioning the marriage’s worth, which eventually led to the launch of a sexual revolution.

As seen in the writings of Plato regarding Socrates, which some will argue is a blending of the two philosophers’ ideas, one of the requirements for a virtuous man is that he must first know “his spiritual self as it really is, including all its shortcomings, strengths and potentialities” (Sahakian, Sahakian, 1966, p. 32). As Plato was a disciple of Socrates and the source of much of the information we have regarding much of what this man had to say, Socrates’ concept of virtue is relevant to an understanding of Plato’s views. According to Socrates, it is the man who does not know himself who cannot accurately judge his own capabilities and his own unique path to the greatest good based on the accurate use of his strengths and knowledge of his weaknesses. Socrates takes this another step by suggesting that knowledge of oneself will instruct from within regarding those things which are good (virtuous) and those things which are not. He suggests this by claiming that things that are good will make us feel happy inside while things that are bad will be immediately recognizable to the man who knows himself because these actions will cause “spiritual degradation and mental deterioration” (Sahakian, Sahakian, 1966, p. 33) that will be immediately apparent.

Socrates’ most famous student, Plato, pulled together the ideas of his mentor and Pythagoras to combine them with his own response to what he’d seen of the world to develop his Theory of Forms, in which the ultimate goal was to progress through the levels of reality to the highest level, also known as the greatest good. This is presented as the Allegory of the Cave in Book 7 of The Republic. As is seen in this allegory, Plato does not view reality as being the world of substance and things that we can see in everyday life but as something more abstract that can only be obtained through intellectual thought.
