Traditional conservatives believe in the idea of natural law. In their view, nature should be the principal controller of the world. Therefore, they really value religion because it is more important as compared to any form of human civilization. So, they hold the view that natural law is constituted by divine revelation and reasoning. Meaning, human beings should do their best to surrender their rights to the most powerful supernatural (God) as the provider and creator for everyone. However, using reasonable means that a person should critically use their mind to deeply think before making a final decision. Since the traditional conservatives believe in the rule of natural law, they need to use divine truths to organize and put the society in order (Quintin 2006). This explains why many traditional conservatives are members of high Christianity denominations like Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox. Natural law is a significant concept in human life because it is the chief source of morality and sets the standard codes of ethics each person should conform to.

In the eyes of the traditional conservatives, customs and traditions form a very significant part of human life. In their opinion, each and every community has a unique set of cultural traditions that are of the essence to them. They help in guiding the way they live, behave, and conduct themselves on the day to day basis. These successes point to the capacity of the Cree people to fight for their rights uncompromisingly. Buffy Sainte-Marie belongs to this illustrious native group. She received her formal education in the USA and moved to Hawaii in the 60s as a resident, where she continues to live today although her work demands her frequent travels to the mainland. Her academic training in the formal US schools did not prevent her natural leanings towards her native cultural ethos, of which she became more aware as she grew up and moved into an aboriginal family, as her biography points out. Thus, Buffy became the true product&nbsp.of native creativity, aided and assisted by the formal education and opportunities of the mainstream US society. Despite her dual citizenship of the USA and Canada, she is proud to be a Canadian, as she informed the Ottawa Citizen in an interview in 1993.

One of the main ethical issues associated with the use of social media is reduced interactions between family members living under the same roof. Before the advent of such media, family members used to sit together to discuss family matters and other issues. I can trace my family to my eighth great grandfather. Since my family is Arab, the Arab language still prevails and colors of Arabic traditions and cultures are seen in my way of living. An Arab heritage means a diversity of people, nationalities and religions expressed through a single Arabic language.

My family traditions have always been my area of interest that I often used to discuss with my paternal grandmother. She has told me about how my ancestors had lived and the great cultural heritage I possess as an Arab. Since my ancestors were Arabs they were Muslims and held a very strong Muslim culture. My grandmother also told me that my great grandfather moved from Yemen to Saudi Arabia for about 70 years ago. I’ve moved to America for my higher education and am an International student in the American society. When I shifted to America I faced the differences in language, cultural values and religion, despite of all the differences I tried to be assimilated in the American culture and worked for the progress of the American economy.

Being an Arab the cultural and religious differences have been vast between me and American society. Being a Muslim in America is a different experience. Islam is a mosaic of many racial and national groups in America. Like most of the Muslims in America, I tried to assimilate in the American culture along with preserving my religious and cultural values. Due to the bitter historical relationships between Islam and America, which are the results of the Crusades and European colonialism and the 9/11 event, the American society finds it difficult to incorporate a Muslim in its society. Nevertheless, I have balanced experiences regarding the matter. Due to my affiliation with the educated class of society, I am seen with much respect and a broader mind. I am not seen as a ‘terrorist’ in general, however, most people do stereotype Muslims as terrorists, and much racism is also seen in many classes of American society like Puwat Charukamnoetkanok&nbsp.faced racism and difficulties in being accepted by the American society in the Dublin book ( Dublin. 222).&nbsp.

Immigration is an important mechanism to eradicate poverty since it permits movement from region where there are few labor opportunities to regions where there are many opportunities to improve living standards. However, although one has a right to freedom of movement, they ought to adhere to the State’s procedures of immigration. The aim of this paper is to summarize and analyze Kukathas’s and Risse’s arguments in favor of immigration and to evaluate differences in their defenses.

Risse’s argument on egalitarianism is based on the fact that everyone across the globe is entitled to an equal share of exploiting natural resources in the world. He argues that the existence of natural resources was not achieved through the efforts of an individual thus no one has the authority to prevent others from exploiting them (Risse 28). This argument holds that human beings have the right to sharing natural resources equally regardless of their origin. The staggering level of inequality among different countries would therefore not be a reason to bar someone from getting to a foreign land. Human beings are born into the world independently and equally and therefore no one made choice on where to be born. Therefore, a citizen from a third world country cannot be held responsible for the fact they were born in a poor country since they never choose where to be born. Based on this fact, it follows that they are morally permitted to enter into a foreign country provided they are going to acquire anything that is rightly theirs.

In his argument, Risse purports that since countries such as the United States and Germany are rich in natural resources compared to other countries. They are obliged to permit entry of residence from poor countries in order to enhance the equal distribution of natural resources since they are perceived as universally owned (Risse 25). Additionally, he suggests that people should consider immigration as a global rather than a national issue in order to understand morality of allowing open borders.
