The market industry is indicated by a well-documented five forces analysis that well states the position of the company. The marketing development is described by the marketing mix policies that define the segmentation of the car. This leads to the required launch of the car in the effective UK and EU market. Solectrica car is a new brand of cars from Pessan Motors Ltd. This is a car that develops sufficient use of energy as different governments strive to reduce the rates of pollution to the environment. Industrialized countries have increasingly polluted the environment and with time, there is bound to be less sustainability to the environmental issues that are coming up (Fırat, 2013). There has therefore been a constant call to shift to energy saving machines especially the machines that are continuously done. Factual information shows that a single car generates half a ton of carbon dioxide within a very short time span. It is also estimated that there are 500 million cars in the world. The number is bound to double to more than a billion by 2030. This also means double pollution. There is rampant knowledge about use of environmentally friendly cars in the UK and therefore sensitization about the need to generate this type of car to capture this rapidly growing market. Solectrica cars are supposed to aim for this high reduction and there is even hope that some governments will effectively create regulations that will reduce manufacture of cars that are either using solar power or electric energy.&nbsp.

With the Nike + TV ad already running, the social media campaign should be more detailed with the content of the ad. The advertisement should be able to serve its purpose in the market by segmenting its territory and attracting new subscribers or clients.

According to Funk (2013) the campaign should choose wisely the social media platforms that it will be run on. The consideration is also strategic since the aim of the campaign is to re energise the loyalty of the brand and also attract new clients.

Capturing the attention of the readers and viewers dos not only include the perfect use of color, but it also has so much to deal with the choice of words used. Words that are captivating to the ear and capturing to the eye are almost always the simplest words that we use on our day to day conversations.

More often than not, the target audience is normally the driving force towards determining an ad. In our case, Nike+ is a sports line that deals with all types of sporting equipment, balls and apparels. The target market here is definitely inclined towards sportsmen and sports enthusiasts. This however is still a very wide market that will also need to be segmented according to the content of the available product.

The only way to attract interest is by association. Let the audience of the campaign feel associated with the campaign. With the term possibilities, let the campaign be designed such that it shows ability, determination, chance and finally possibility.

After getting the attention of the viewer, the advertisement or campaign should be able to attract the viewer. This is only achievable by creating a level of interest up to the point where the viewer would like to know how he/she will benefit or gain from the item in front of them.

Just do it-possibility is creating a new feeling, a feeling of much more in the field where someone has already accomplished.

write an article on Drawing a Comparison between Single Gun Theory by Polly Apfelbaum and Parents and Children by Matthew Ritchie. It needs to be at least 2250 words

Polly is known for her “fallen paintings,” i.e. artwork that “exists in a contentious space between painting, sculpture and installation” (Polly). What that means is that Apfelbaum incorporates a lot of intricate fabrics and undermine shapes, and arranges them into distinctive patterns on the floor. She enjoys tackling cultural topics such as feminism, postwar and other popular culture (Polly). Apfelbaum does not stray from this description in her famous painting entitled, “Single Gun Theory.”

The painting depicts various shapes and colours splayed out across a wooden floor. It is evident that the art is on the floor due to the bordering white walls and wall liners. The colours appear to have a “spilt” effect, creating the illusion or idea that multiple coloured-pencils or pint has been dropped vicariously across the floor. The painting also has a 3-D effect where the top of the painting gives off the impression that is further away. It gradually gets larger from there until the bottom half overwhelms the viewer into making it seem like it is closed like it is coming off the page. The walls themselves help issue the illustration where it is narrower at the top and wider at the bottom.

The elements of design come in an array of options that can be applied to the artwork. This includes, but is not limited to line, shape, direction, size, texture, colour, and value (Art). Each of these designs or structures can be attributed to Apfelbaum’s “A Single Gun Theory” painting due to the fact that it is so expressive and dynamic.

The liner marks are more distinctive on the surrounding edges where the colours are elongated. There is minimal sharing of the lines to each other because they are all marked individually by specific colours. The colours are one of the most vibrant aspects of Apfelbaum’s painting. It is what embodies the positive space of the artwork.&nbsp.

Solving Problems with a Cause and Effect Essay: Organization

Solving Problems with a

Cause and Effect Essay: Organization

Introduction (paragraph 1)

Thesis (first sentence)

The thesis (main idea sentence) includes the cause and the effects. Since this essay will offer solutions to a problem, the cause will be your solution, and the effects will be the positive benefits of your solution.

Here are three examples:

· Installing bike racks on buses will help reduce traffic.

· Giving tax refunds to building owners who install solar panels will reduce air pollution.

· Building more outdoor places for children to play will make them better students.

Background Information

Beginning immediately, your introduction (first paragraph) should also fully explain the problem you are trying to solve. You must show the reader that you fully understand the problem AND you must show that the problem is an important one. If the reader does not care about the problem, the reader will not care about your solution. Be as specific as possible, and be sure to explain any concepts that may be unfamiliar to readers.

Here’s an example of background information to follow the second option above:

Giving tax refunds to building owners who install solar panels will reduce air pollution. Air pollution causes a variety of problems for people living in the city. It can irritate their eyes, nose, and throat, cause headaches and coughs, and make it difficult to breathe. Air pollution can also lead to more serious illnesses, like bronchitis, pneumonia, emphysema, and even lung cancer. All of these have a serious negative impact on people’s lives and their productivity. Unfortunately, very few people are willing to give up things like electricity. Automobiles produce the most air pollution, but electrical power plants also produce a significant amount. What if we could reduce the amount of electricity we need from Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) by creating it ourselves?

Body (paragraphs 2-x)

· The body is the main part of your essay. It should support the statement you made in your first sentence (your MAIN IDEA). It should explain exactly how your solution would be implemented, and exactly how your solution would lead to the effects you mentioned in your main idea sentence. Be sure to include plenty of details and information, examples, reasons, and so on.

· If you are making more than one point, or if your solution has more than one effect, you should use more than one body paragraph. Each body paragraph should FOCUS on a single point or effect.

· Note that since you already talked about the problem in detail (in paragraph 1), the body paragraphs should focus on your solution–how it works and what its positive effects will be.

· A final tip on body paragraphs: it is a good idea to include arguments against you, but only if you can show that your argument is stronger. For example: It’s true that installing solar panels is expensive, but after about seven years, homeowners will recover their costs and begin saving money. Including counterarguments gives you more authority (presence), since it shows readers that you have thought deeply about your topic.

Conclusion (final paragraph)

Writing a conclusion is easy, but writing a good conclusion is difficult. There are three things a conclusion should do:

· Remind readers of the essay’s main argument (main idea).

· Remind readers of your main points, or the foci of your body paragraphs.

· Give readers a takeaway. The takeaway is the thing you want your readers to remember, to think about, to do, or to understand after they have finished reading your essay.

Saskatchewan Mining and Steel (SMS) Corporation is evaluating whether it should produce a new synthetic steel that will require billions of dollars to develop. According to Bill Bates, the CEO of SMS, the synthetic steel should boost sales such that the company’s total new income is increased substantially.

Mary, who has worked in the capital budgeting area for six years, has been asked to estimate the relevant cash flows that the synthetic steel is expected to generate.

During the past few weeks, Mary has had quite a few conversations with the company’s engineers, its production manager, and its vice president of marketing. With the information she compiled through her conversations with these people and additional information she received from independent sources, Mary put together a rather detailed forecast of the synthetic steel’s relevant cash flows. The final report, which includes only the forecasted cash flows and explanations for the forecasts, was submitted to the chief investment officer yesterday. The report does not include NPV or IRR analysis of the new product because such analyses are conducted by the investment officer.

Today, the investment officer called Mary to tell her that he thought that the forecasts she submitted were incorrect. Mary explained that her forecasts were based on a large amount of information that she had collected and corroborated in combination with analysts’ predictions concerning the potential success of the synthetic steel. As she told the investment officer, her forecasts were based on optimistic growth rates in sales for the synthetic steel during the next 15 years. The investment officer said that he thought the growth of such a revolutionary product could be higher than Mary estimated, so he asked her to reconsider her cash flow estimates. Although she had reviewed the numbers dozens of times and she is convinced her forecasts are reliable, Mary agreed to “go over” the forecasts one more time. Being a team player is important to Mary because she wants to move up the corporate ladder as quickly as possible, and she believes that her rise to the executive suite will be enhanced if she cooperates with her superiors, including the investment officer.

Because she set up her forecast on a spreadsheet, Mary knew it would be easy to change the growth rate of sales to get new cash flow forecasts for the synthetic steel. But Mary didn’t think that growth rates higher than the ones she used in her original forecasts could be achieved, even if the synthetic steel proved to be a huge success.  She did, however use the higher growth rates that the investment officer had suggested and generated a new set of forecasted cash flows for the synthetic steel. Even though she is convinced that the new growth rates are likely not attainable, Mary sent her new forecasts to the investment office a little while ago.  She figured, “What’s the difference? I don’t make the final decision anyway.”

Do you believe that Mary should have changed her forecasts? What would you have done if you were in Mary’s position?
