Write 1 page thesis on the topic review of terrys presentation.

Write 1 page thesis on the topic review of terrys presentation. Terry’s presentation considerably neglected the audience during the preparation process. Experts agree that an audience-appropriate creation is essential in making successful presentations in the workplace (Alley, 2013). Terry’s presentation, however, focused on milestones and dates, ignoring essential engineering details required by the presentation’s audience. Terry’s presentation also lacked clarity. Within the first four slides of the presentation, the engineering department lacked clarity regarding the presentation. Essential in creating a successful business presentation is ensuring the main points are introduced within the first few slides of the presentation.

Terry should have better prepared the presentation by critically considering his audience. In the event that he lacked the technical engineering knowledge on engineering, he should have enlisted help in preparing a highly professional presentation appropriate for his target audience. Terry should have also introduced the main points in the presentation within the first few slides to avoid confusion and questions before the end of the presentation. Gallo acknowledges the role of intelligent responses during a presentation (Gallo, 2009). Terry should have taken a different approach to navigate the audience’s questions. While having answers is essential, a professionally request to get back to the audience following consultation is acceptable in events where the answer is not readily available (Brusino, 2008). Therefore, Terry should have replaced his anger with professional rationalism.

1) What are the major advantages and disadvantages of the single-step form of income statement compared to the multiple-step income statement?

Single-step vs. Multiple-step Income Statements

In this discussion, you must answer the two questions below regarding single-step vs. multiple-step income statements

1) What are the major advantages and disadvantages of the single-step form of income statement compared to the multiple-step income statement? Can a business incur a gross profit but incur a loss?

2) Please find an organization that you are familiar with and determine if they are using a single or multiple-step income statement? Please name some key differences between the two formats.

Submit a 500-750 word referenced reflection on what you feel were the key items covered during the week and how they might apply to your present or future education, life, or ministry.

Submit a 500-750 word referenced reflection on what you feel were the key items covered during the week and how they might apply to your present or future education, life, or ministry. This is a very important part of the learning experience each week and should contain a significant reflection on what you have learned.Students are encouraged to read other classmates’ posts and engage with their peers, but not required to post a response.

Specifically, you should report on:

  1. What is the most significant thing I learned this week?
  2. How did what I learned change my thinking about this week’s topic?
  3. How will I use (or have I used) this knowledge in my life?
  4. What previous experiences relate to what I read and learned?
  5. (optional) What questions do I still have about what I learned this week?

The above five (5) weekly reflection questions are independent of each other, meaning that your response to each question may or may not be a continued discussion of the previous question. It is possible to have five (5) entirely different responses to five (5) different aspects of what you learned this week.

To score well, the reflection must make reference to the assigned reading (including parenthetical references), will include suggested real-world manifestations of the course material, and will include a plan for implementing the material in a personal and/or professional setting.

A major difference between the private sector and the public sector is the “divide between payer and decider.”

1. A major difference between the private sector and the public sector is the “divide between payer and decider.”   In the private sector, we choose a product and decide if we want to pay for it or not, and then purchase it or not.  In the public sector, we pay taxes into a “pot” where all the taxes from all payers are gathered.  Then our representatives decide how that money should be spent.  What impact does this divide have on budgeting AND on public satisfaction with how funds are spent?

2. The budget cycle (executive preparation, legislative consideration, budget execution, audit) is at least three years long (for one budget year).  How does this extended time period impact the utility of budgets and how we measure the effectiveness of budgeting?

3. Does the budget format selected make any difference in preparing, adopting, implementing or auditing the budget?  What about public understanding of the budget?

4. Has post-1970 “budgetary reform” simply been a struggle for power between the legislative bodies and the executive, or have they been sincere efforts to get spending under control?  If the latter, why does Congress need a law to force them to exercise spending control?

● If you were the top executive at United Airline, would you have authorized a study to identify the proper employee incentive structure prior to making an announcement.

Following the passage of the Tax Cuts Act by the US Congress in late 2017, several large corporations announced the offering of employee bonuses and other incentives to their employees as a good faith gesture of passing on parts of the tax gains to employees. In early 2018, United Airlines Holdings Inc. (United Airlines) offered a lottery system of employee rewards and incentives instead of the more traditional employee bonus package.

However, United Airlines’ plan quickly backfired and resulted in public humiliation for its top executives. Based on the information discussed in Chapter 6 of Zikmund et al. (9th ed.) textbook:

● How would you categorize the business orientation of United Airlines?

● If you were the top executive at United Airline, would you have authorized a study to identify the proper employee incentive structure prior to making an announcement.

● If you were tasked with conducting research to recommend United Airlines on its bonus policy, how would you define the problem?

● After reviewing Chapter 6, list a few (at least two [2]) questions that your research will attempt to answer.

Make sure to include in-text citations and peer reviewed references in APA format, paper must be in a APA7 format

Identify who the primary authors or writers of the newsletter/blog are and explain why you believe them to be credible authorities on the subject.

Research and report on a conflict management newsletter or blog that you believe would be useful to yourself and your classmates. Your report should be 250 words in length. In your report, explain who you believe would be particularly interested in the newsletter or blog (i.e., pastors, small business owners, educators, etc.).

Identify who the primary authors or writers of the newsletter/blog are and explain why you believe them to be credible authorities on the subject. Present a sampling of the topics that are typically discussed in the newsletter/blog, and include in your report at least one topic/piece of advice/insight that you personally found particularly useful or interesting. You should include a hyperlink to the newsletter or blog if it is an electronic source or a mailing address if the newsletter is available via traditional mail.

Mnookin poses the question of when we should negotiate with the enemy or not?

Complete the required reading for the week and respond to two (2) of the reflection questions below (unless you chose option “d”). The response should be at least 500 words in length, roughly 250 words per question. Use proper APA citation, which should not be part of the word count.

Questions

  1. Mnookin poses the question of when we should negotiate with the enemy or not? People have different viewpoints about topics. Using the textbook in chapter one, share what observations you make regarding how we avoid the common traps.
  2. Using one of the seven common traps as found in chapter one, pick one of the seven and share an illustration of how this occurs. Feel free to use any personal examples in your church or organization.
  3. Using the five basic questions on negotiation found on pages 27-28, share an example in your life where you implemented these strategies.
  4. Develop a Conflict Resolution Policy for your organization. If you select this option, you do not need to choose another question.

Module 6: Endocrine pathophysiology

Title of Assignment:

Module 6: Endocrine pathophysiology

Purpose of Assignment:

Complications from endocrine disorders can result in wide systemic effects. Analyzing disorders related to endocrine for the nurse is complex and orders provided to treat the client’s condition can sometimes be puzzling. Consideration of an endocrine case study will help the student learn the complexities of understanding the pathophysiology of an endocrine disorder

Course Competency(s):

  • Determine pathophysiologic alterations that affect the reproductive and endocrine systems

Content:

Diabetes case study

A 21-year old female (A.M) presents to the urgent care clinic with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and a fever for 3 days. She states that she has Type I diabetes and has not been managing her blood sugars since she’s been ill and unable to keep any food down. She’s only tolerated sips of water and juices. Since she’s also been unable to eat, she hasn’t taken any insulin as directed. While helping A.M. from the lobby to the examining room you note that she’s unsteady, note that her skin in warm and flushed and that she’s drowsy. You also note that she’s breathing rapidly and smell a slight sweet/fruity odor. A.M. has a challenge answering questions but keeps asking for water to drink.

You get more information from A.M. and learn

  • She had some readings on her glucometer which were reading ‘high’
  • She vomits almost every time she takes in fluid
  • She hasn’t voided for a day but voided a great deal the day before
  • She’s been sleeping long hours and finally woke up this morning and decided to seek care

Current labs and vital signs:

  1. What is the pathophysiology for the condition you believe A.M. has?
  2. Relate the etiology and clinical manifestations for the condition you identified for A.M.

The practitioner at the urgent care facility makes the decision that A.M. needs to go to the hospital by ambulance.  Once at the Emergency Department (ED), the ED physician orders these items:

  1. 1000 ml Lactated Ringer’s (LR) IV stat
  2. 36 units NPH (Humulin N) and 20 units regular (Humulin R) insulin SQ now
  3. CBC with differential; CMP: blood cultures X2 sites; clean-catch urine for UA and C&S; stool for ova and parasites; Clostridium difficile toxin, and C&S; serum lactate; ketone; osmolality; ABGs on room air
  4. 1800 calorie, carbohydrate controlled diet
  5. Bed rest
  6. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 650 mg orally Q4 hrs PRN
  7. Furosemide (Lasix) 60 mg IV push now
  8. Urinary output every hour
  9. VS every shift

The orders above — which are questionable related to her condition and which are appropriate?

  1. What are the expected treatments for this condition?

Instructions:

Summarize the questions above and formulate what may be happening with A.M. and how you would improve her condition.

Write 6 pages thesis on the topic regional critique for north america.

Write 6 pages thesis on the topic regional critique for north america. In the book, North America: The Historical Geography of a Changing Continent&nbsp.by Thomas F. McIlwraith, and Edward K. Muller, the writer describes North America as a continent that developed gradually over many years. However, the statement “past and present are simplified notions of our conceptions of time” as used in the book is inappropriate because developments and growth of the present precede what happened in the past. Furthermore, North America is a haven of archeology, culture, parks, science museums, world’s fairs, and golf courses. These properties have been elevated for many years by a tranquil environment, clean water systems together with plants, and animals found in the continent. Concisely, nature has shaped the development of human growth, infrastructure, and environmental cleanliness. above all, it has encouraged research in American institutions. Network linkages have been transformed to create a connection among all states.

These include both land and air connections that ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the sharing of goods and services among all citizens. Critiquing nature is hard since human endeavors cannot change what the society and environment hold.

New York City is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Hudson River, which provide harbors for importation and exportation of goods and services. The harbors are also used for recreational activities that attract tourists to New York City. In this regard, New York City is characterized by a dense population rendering land a scarce commodity. this sparks a quest for urban planning and protection of public land from gripping. Despite the dense population, New York City bestows the cleanest and most&nbsp.tranquil environment in Northern America (Jackson, 2010). The tranquil environment is accountable for energy efficiency reducing dependence on other cities. The economy of New York is highly dependent on the New York harbor, which has deep waters through which goods and services from other cities enter the city. To add to that, the city has boroughs that enable easy accessibility to neighboring provinces specifically, Brooklyn, Long Island, and queen’s provinces.

writing homework on The SR-30 Turbojet Engine Performance and Work Analysis.

Need help with my writing homework on The SR-30 Turbojet Engine Performance and Work Analysis. Write a 1250 word paper answering; This analysis has several overriding assumptions. These include:

Equation 1 is used in each location using subscript 02 as exit and subscript 01 as the inlet. The density anywhere in the system can be calculated from ideal gas law using a gas constant for air (Rair = 287J/kg K).

The entropy in the system is calculated using Equation 3. This is assuming the flow is classified as Rayleigh flow. Rayleigh flow is steady, the one-dimensional flow of ideal gas having constant specific heats passing through a constant area duct with heat transfer and negligible friction.

The basic operation of the compressor consists of a stationary casing and a rotating impeller producing high-velocity air. The compressor rotates at a very high rate imparting a high speed to the outer edge of the vanes. The high speeds present require high strength materials to be used in the construction. The compressor has a diffuser section which decelerates the air thus creating high pressure. The compressor contains relatively low temperatures and can be considered to have a constant heat capacity cp=1.005 kJ/kg K and ratio of specific heat capacities k=1.4. The compressor is assumed to be isentropic, meaning constant entropy from the compressor inlet to compressor outlet/turbine inlet. Compressor work can be calculated from equation 1.

The SR-30 Turbojet engine uses a reverse flow annular combustion chamber. The annular type combustor is used because of the low frontal area and weight for the given volume. The reverse type allows the turbine to be radially inboard of the combustor permitting a shorter engine. The air entering into the combustor is at high pressure from the compressor. The high-pressure air mixes with the fuel as it is sprayed in. The fuel is assumed to burn at constant pressure and the resulting high temperature, high-pressure air is exited to the turbine. The combustion process has a high air to fuel ratio because the excess air is used to cool&nbsp.the turbine.

The total energy produced from the combustion process can be calculated using the lower heating value of the fuel and the mass flow rate of the fuel.
