Write an article on E-government.

I will pay for the following article E-government. The work is to be 48 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. There was a revolution in the waiting to happen and it is only with the passage of time that everyone concerned with the governmental departments will understand the true potential and advantages of implementing the E-government initiative. Surely the times have changed – for the better. (Moulder, 2001)

E-government is the short form of electronic government, also known as the ‘e-gov’ and has a number of other names in digital government, online government and even transformational government. (Riley, 2003) E-government discusses the manner in which government makes use of the exchange of information and services that are pertinent with regards to the citizens, individual businesses, and other governmental agencies to name a few. (Welch, 2005) E-government thus takes care of information and communications technology, which in this paper we will call as ICT. All these processes are carried out to ensure that there is improvement within the processes, efficiency is achieved, public services are better managed and delivered and there are plenty of tasks that are done in the right manner as far as processes of democratic governance is concerned. Thus to add to the same discussion, we see that the E-governments encompass a number of different models including the Government to Citizen, also known as the Government to Customer, Government to Business and lastly Government to Government. However to coin the most significant of these activities that E-government does in the related scheme of things, we see that E-government increases efficiency between the tasks, ensures there is convenience all around and there is a better accessibility factor related with the provision of basic public services. Hence the interaction between the private sector and that of the public sector is also improved as a result of the very same.

Write a paper on High School Violence.

I will pay for the following article High School Violence. The work is to be 10 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Using the research questions and assumptions used in Chapter I, the researcher developed a research survey questionnaire that was presented in Chapter III.

For Chapter V, the researcher will come up with a conclusion based on the quantitative and qualitative data analysis and the research findings presented in Chapter IV. Right after discussing the study conclusion, the student will discuss about the implications for teaching practices including some implications for future research.

The research questions in the study were answered using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research questionnaires that was distributed to randomly selected participants between the age brackets of 14 – 18 years old at (name of US high school) and (name of US high school). Eventually, the research survey results was compared to the research findings that was reported by the National School Safety Center: Review of School Safety Research (2006) including the

Childhood experience and the personal relationship of each individual with the parents significantly affect the behavior of each individual. Since the development of a child’s attitude starts at home, parents are considered to be responsible in the psychological, mental, and behavioral development of their children. Likewise, the school teachers also have a role to play in terms of disciplining the students whereas students in general could easily track down possible causes of school violence more than the school teachers or parents since these young individuals are more closely involved with other children who are capable of committing violent acts.

Since parents, teachers, and students are among the three most important groups that actively participate in school activities, the research study concluded that it is important for these groups to be given a special role to play in the prevention of school violence.

Complete 1 page APA formatted article: The Story of London’s Most Terrifying Epidemic. This historical discovery led to the containment of the disease and development of drugs to combat the disease and reduce the high mortality rates it caused in the past.

The discovery of the real cause of cholera and that this was highly contributed by the overcrowding and the poor sanitary conditions in the cities such as London led to some major changes in living arrangements as well as paved way for other inventions to be made such as the toilets, tapped water inside the buildings that were not connected to sewer lines as well as decongestion of the city through better redistribution and housing structures construction.

The poor in the large cities who were the most prone to cholera epidemic and death started taking better care of their health as the city authority continued with the structural changes to ensure the end of the cholera epidemics.

Measuring the reactions of the enzymes catecholase in different levels of pH in different tempereture Introduction Enzymes are biological catalysts which speed up chemical reactions. These enzymes have active sites which bind to the substrates thereby converting the substrate into the final products at a faster rate due to the lowering of the energy of activation. Enzymes are however affected by environmental factors such as pH and temperature and chemicals. Many enzymes work well in a narrow range of pH. A change in pH may alter the three dimensional structure of the enzyme due to formation or breakage of covalent bonds within the enzyme. A change in the structure of the enzyme may affect the enzymes binding ability and consequently its activity. Temperature rise of about 10oC normally doubles or triples the rate of enzymatic reactions. However beyond the optimum temperature the enzyme activity decreases. If catecholase activity is minimally affected at different temperatures and pH then it can be hypothesized that it has a large range of optimal activity. The aim of this experiment was to test the effect of temperature and pH on the enzymatic activity of catecholase.

Methods

The effect of catecholase enyme at different temperatures, 0 and 37oC were tested at different levels of pH 2, 4, 7 and 12. Three tubes for each pH were set up and labelled A, B and C. To three tubes in each pH 3ml of the pH solution was added and 2ml of banana extract (substrate). To two tubes 1ml of the enzyme (potato extract) was added while the third tube the enzyme was not added and acted as the control. The test tubes were then shaken and put in the appropriate temperature and the optical density measured after three minutes.

Results

The reaction rate was the highest at all temperatures at pH 7. At room temperature the reaction rate was the highest in the tube without the enzyme. pH 4 and 12 had the lowest reaction rates at all temperatures. The reaction rates were highest between 0oC and room temperature in the presence of catecholase and lowest at 0oC without the enzyme.

Discussion

Catechol oxidase (catecholase) is a polyphenol oxidase enzyme present in many plants (Aniszewski et al. 2008). It is responsible for catalysing the reaction between oxygen and hydroxylated benzenes leading to the production of quinines and water. The enzyme mediated reaction rate was the highest at physiological pH and at temperatures between zero and room temperature. This shows that the enzyme has a large range of optimal temperatures. However, it has a narrow range of optimal pH. The narrow pH range during which catecholase activity was the highest is due to the effect of pH on the redox behaviour of catecholase activity (González-Sebastián et al. 2010)

Write a 2 pages paper on leadership concepts and peculiarities.

Write a 2 pages paper on leadership concepts and peculiarities. By virtue of being a leader of an institution which is as big as a school, one is entrusted with the capacity to oversee all the activities taking place which affect its running. Basically, leadership is concerned with the vision of the organisation and the leader should always be exemplary. Since the assistant principal has been accidentally injured, I will devote my time to attend to potential business partners who are likely to bring about positive change to the school bearing in mind that such a move will make my job relatively easier in the future. Indeed, I will extend my warm welcome to my partner in the Community Based Organisation (CBO) who will be bringing a potential funder to the Saturday Academy the following day. There is every need to meet this funder as a way of showing appreciation to this rare opportunity since he will need to catch the 11.30 am flight. Compared to attending the daughter’s basketball tournament, this opportunity to meet the potential funder will go a long way towards development of my career as both administrator and leader.

Indeed, there is every need to be devoted to work and show commitment especially during the period of crisis where the institution you are running is facing critical challenges such as budget cuts instead of choosing to pursue personal luxury activities which will leave you exposed once you miss the perfect opportunity of getting the much needed assistance. I will also take the opportunity to engage the parents who represent the graduation committee since these are very important stakeholders in the running of the school and cannot in any way object to their proposal but would happily give them a nod to engage the photographer. The occasion of graduation is historic such that it has to be recorded in true fashion.

It can be suicidal to delegate my second assistant principal to attend to such important scheduled meetings as this would reflect a negative attitude of my leadership qualities. Such important business which affects the overall running of the institution requires the head to be present as this would show commitment to the school as well as reflect positive leadership traits. In this particular case, the issue of great concern to me is the need to get funding for the institution since this would make it relatively easier to run it. Almost all activities at school require some funding to ensure its smooth running.

The first three things I need to do as the principal include the following: instil discipline among students and members of staff, improve the pass rate as well as developing infrastructure. In every learning institution, discipline among the students and the teachers is the cornerstone of achieving the goals of the institution as well as ensuring its smooth running. When the students respect each other and the members of staff, it will be easier to control them and the chances of conflict will also be very low. It is often difficult to control rogue students hence the need to ensure that I instil discipline during my first days as the new principal of the school.

Being the principal, I will also work towards the improvement of both the students’ and teachers’ performance so as to achieve high pass rates. In most cases, the standard performance of the school is reflected through the pass rates of the school. These can be used as a measure to ensure that maximum effort is put towards the learning and teaching activities.

I will also aim to maintain as well as develop infrastructure in the school. A learning environment ought to be attractive in order to attract talented teachers who can impart their knowledge to the students. I will try to source funds from different well wishers and donors in order to be able to develop the infrastructure. I will expect to get moral as well as professional support from the coach so that I will diligently execute my duties. Whenever I encounter a problem that may be out of my capacity to handle it, I will always seek professional advice from the authorities above including the coach.

The other objectives are to find out the market potential of the Rococo Chocolates in France and the way of promoting the product to achieve a sustainable position in the French market. Integrated marketing communications and branding strategies are discussed to find out the optimum path of success in the new market.

The international marketing aspects have become a great opportunity for many companies. The Rococo Chocolates which is originated from London is now looking for great business opportunities in France. It is always very much challenging for any business entity to go global or to set up a new business in other countries. However, in this case, the market is very much challenging as the growth level of the chocolate sales is not too high in the projected market, but with the help of out of the box thinking process, the hidden path of the success can be achieved. To have a sustainable position in the French chocolate market, Rococo has to go through many changes accordingly. The strength and weakness from the inside and the opportunity and threat from the market must be analyzed properly to put a step into the new market.

Rococo Chocolates was founded in March 1983 by its owner Chantal Coady (Rococo Chocolates). For the last two decades, the company has grown steadily. It has a great product line of different flavors of chocolates, and it also has different accessories related to chocolates. However, after catering the London with the flagship store in Motcomb St, in the center of Belgravia in London and with other two in London the Rococo has gained a great reputation within the London for selling rich and high-quality chocolates. The founder and owner Coady is also the head of the chocolate society in London (Coe & Coe, 2007). With the vast experience of&nbsp.over 28 years, she has gained the potential to take her company to the international level.&nbsp.

The patient, KB is a 67 year old male, who is married with two kids. He lives in his retirement apartment. He is originally a Nigerian but has been residing in the United States for the last thirty years. Both his kids are married and both KB and his wife are retired. After the enactment of the Affordable Care Act, the healthcare provision for senior citizens became a lot easier. Since KB is a resident of the United States and has been residing for more than thirty years, he is eligible to all the benefits provided by the Act. While previously, citizens like KB would put off their doctor appointments and treatments since they could not afford it, but now things have become quite different, and the American hospitals receive patients like KB and tend to them easily. Moreover, the presence of Medicare also ensures the health insurance for patients like KB who are elderly and have been facing very few health insurance options in the past.

KB follows a cultural background of the Yoruba origination. Yoruba culture is one of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria. In Yoruba medical care, their origins include getting rid of symptoms, then identifying and working at the removal of the cause of illness, and then lastly maintenance of the body to restore the holistic balance. Normal tradition of Yoruba medical care believes in general traditional medicine. These medical care traditions cover simple ailments such as psychiatry, dermatology, chest-care, midwifery, pediatric, orthopedics, circumcision and internal medicine. More complex diseases were treated by mystic medicine, while the third type of medicine, i.e.

submit a 1250 words paper on the topic JBS Report.

Hi, need to submit a 1250 words paper on the topic JBS Report. The changes are as shown in the income statement.

When calculating the BEP for JBS, there is a challenge of classifying costs. It is very difficult to divide the costs categories as either a variable or a fixed cost. Consequently, the variable cost does not change proportionally to JBS revenue at each activity level. For instance, the revenues gotten from fee might change if the recruitment of students is changed. It is also difficult to categorize the faculty member as variable costs because there is high possibility of recruiting part-time staff. Consequently, there is a challenge attached to the time. Determining the time over which the variable and fixed cost relationship holds the status of the company is difficult to find out. Over a short time, the costs are viewed as fixed, but in the end, some of costs considered as fixed are now variable.

To evaluate the progress of JBS towards its mission, will use performance indicators and measures. The company will use the balance sheet, income statement, profit and loss account, and cash inflows of the previous year’s result to measure its performance. The data will be extracted from the relevance sources and then converted to financial ratios. This analysis involves incorporating both the financial and non-financial information into the evaluation. Additionally, the evaluation will seek the help of scorecard and benchmarking indicators. In Benchmarking, the institution will incorporate the comparative data in measuring the performance. The method takes the internal form where comparisons are done between various units within the institution. The technique will also take the functional form, where comparisons are conducted with the trusted external practitioner despite the market.

Empire ( & it subsidiary National) car rental have an HR Recruitment policy to hire new employees only at the entry level position.   ALL other positions are filled by internal recruitment.

The renowned (or infamous) retired CEO of GE, Jack Welch, enacted an HR policy of terminating the lowest performance rated 10% of GE’s workforce of over 200,000 employees, or about 20,000 employees, every year.

These 2 companies exemplify the extreme poles of the perennial “recruit from inside” and “recruit from outside” camps.  Companies of all sizes  will lose employees to death, retirement, and voluntary or involuntary separation.  Companies will need to hire new employees due to growth in demand, or losses noted before.
