prepare and submit a paper on the concepts related to supply and demand.

Your assignment is to prepare and submit a paper on the concepts related to supply and demand. This can be affected by various changes in the economy for example inflation, fashion etc. Supply is the term used to refer to the availability of a commodity in the market. The demand and supply of a commodity exhibit a high correlation which is determined by price (Fisher 2007 p 15). The law of demand states that. the lower the price, the higher the demand but under normal circumstances. On the other hand, the law of supply states that an increase in the price of a commodity results to an increase in its supply. This essay is an evaluation of the various concepts of supply and demand.

The law of demand states that the lower the price of a commodity, the higher its demand (Fisher 2007 p 20). This means that the prices of items determine the willingness of a customer to buy an item. This rule though has its exceptions which may involve circumstances that may result from quality and quantity. In that aspect, a customer may refuse to buy an item for example a vehicle which is cheap but which is highly depreciated even though it may be selling at a lower price than a new one.

The quantity of the item being bought may also influence the customer towards buying a commodity due to the requirements he may be wishing to satisfy (Gorman 2003 p 14). For example, a packet of fertilizer may be selling at a price of $30 for 50 Kg. A similar bag of fertilizer may also be selling at a cheaper price but in a 30 Kg package. In this case, the demand for the 50 Kg package would not be affected since the consumer would be buying according to the vastness of the area the fertilizer is to be applied. However, the law of demand under the normal circumstances can be represented on a demand curve, whereby the effects of price change on demand can be represented.

This curve shows the difference in the quantity demanded as compared to the price change. When the price is at the lowest i.e. P1, the demand becomes high i.e. Q3. When the prices are high i.e.

There are also opportunities through greater resource efficiency and from adaptation of our built environment to deal with climate chan. It needs to be at least 3000 words. The government also has a role to play in promoting this transition. It should promote the training of students who will be experts in this particular field by establishing learning institutions that will specialize in giving the students knowledge that will enable them to undertake the task of transforming a given country to be low carbon economy successfully (Smith, 2010, pp 32).

This paper seeks to bring out the business opportunity that comes along with the challenge of transforming the UK economy to be a low carbon economy and the challenges that might be faced in the effort of trying to achieve the objectives of the business (Baeli, 2013, p.15). The paper will also address how the aims of having a sustainable development will be achieved from the main contractor’s perspective. The discussion of the paper is based on the UK construction industry.

The transition of an economy to low carbon is essential. In this context, the paper intends to point out the benefits that the UK government will experience when they invest into this project. The transition might appear to be a major challenge to the UK construction industry, but it brings along a wide range of business opportunities, which can be exploited to improve the UK economy.

First, the transition to a low carbon economy by the UK construction industry will create employment opportunities to some on the citizens in UK (Robert, Howlett, Lakhmi, Jain, Shaun, Lee, 2010, p. 23). Creating employment will reduce the rate of insecurity due to stealing, especially by the youth who are ideal because of unemployment. Creating of employment will also improve the economic state of the country. The government will see an increase in their revenue due to the taxes from the transition sector. The access of Facebook is wider compared to Instagram, but it offers an easier platform of photo-sharing compared to Facebook. Instagram encourages user engagement in the process. Compared with Facebook and Twitter, Instagram allows the targeted audience to develop the necessary image because it employs the use of photos. People find reading boring, but the use of photos increase the rate of information transfer by allowing the audience to scheme through the photo provided.

In addition, photos can be edited in Instagram thereby improving the quality. It can be used to offer a better image of a product or service offered by the company, but target a smaller audience than Facebook. Sharing of photos and information on Facebook is challenging when the restriction is required. In fact, Facebook shares information with all the friends on the list. Instagram allows the user to identify the people to access thus limit access to the picture or information shared. Therefore, when targeting a small audience, Instagram will ensure fast information transfer while allowing the participants to offer their views on the idea presented. In conclusion, Instagram is highly effective when handling a smaller target group and is supported by Facebook.&nbsp.&nbsp.

Introduction

Depression is the state of feeling down due to a low mood that causes a person to avoid any meaningful activities. This aversion or avoidance to normal activities of daily living in turn affects the feelings, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors of the person so affected which can cause a negative effect on the sense of well-being and happiness of the person concerned. Depression is normal sometimes because of worries, pressures, anxieties, tensions, and problems associated in living in a modern society like today. Depression is also considered normal when linked to a loss of a job, a prized possession, or a loved one due to an illness and death. However, it stops being a normal state of mind whenever there is a constant feeling of sadness the cause of which is not in any way directly related to the loss of something or someone valuable. If it is indeterminate in a sense the feeling of sadness cannot be pinpointed with accuracy, then there is depression.

Discussion

A depressed mood is not necessarily a mental or psychological medical condition when it is associated with adverse life events such as a recent death of a loved one (as mentioned above earlier), experiencing a traumatic natural disaster, a job loss, financial difficulties, a divorce, bad relationships, or major life stages such as reaching middle age or having a menopause already. It has a number of symptoms which can serve as warning signs to seek treatment right away. Some of these common symptoms are loss of appetite, memory loss, lack of mental concentration, loss of interest in normally pleasurable activities, lack of energy, insomnia, or excessive sleeping. The depressed person usually has negative thoughts about life, low feelings of self-worth, guilt, helplessness, anxiety, and irritability which can lead to suicide (Beck & Alford, 2009, p. 30).

Whenever the feelings of sadness (depression) persist over a long period of time without any direct cause for it, then it becomes a serious mental condition which is clinically termed as a major depressive disorder (MDD) based from the differential diagnosis approach recommended by the American Psychological Association (APA) using their Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV). The severity, frequency, duration, and kinds of symptoms exhibited by a depressed person may vary from one individual to another because of so many factors. However, depression is a common but serious ailment that is often not treated because either the depressed did not recognize it as such, or is in denial, or even misdiagnosed if the psychiatrist is not trained very well to recognize it or is not very meticulous in detecting the signs and symptoms of a major depression (NIMH, 2011, para. 2) to recommend treatment.

Conclusion

There are also different kinds of depression such as psychotic depression (characterized by feelings of delusion and hallucination), persistent depressive disorder (lasting for two years or even more), seasonal affective disorder (also called or shortened to SAD due to the onset of the winter season), postpartum depression (applies only to pregnant women after they gave birth), or bipolar disorder (which is a cycle of high moods and low moods or severe depression).

Depression is caused by the factors already mentioned earlier but sometimes also due to certain types of medication, or having a serious medical condition like cancer or diagnosed with being HIV-AIDS positive. All is not lost, as depression can be treated if done on time. One treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to alter the thought patterns (Goldberg, 2012, para. 1) by replacing the negativity with healthier and more positive lines of thinking.

writing homework on Examine the application of the maxims of equity in the context of trusts.

Need help with my writing homework on Examine the application of the maxims of equity in the context of trusts. Write a 2750 word paper answering; Under trust, the trustee is a person appointed by law to hold the property on behalf of the beneficiary (Clements and Abass, 2009). In so doing, the trustee is under obligation or submitting to a form of legal obligation mainly referred to as the English law. Moreover, a trustee may be bound by onerous responsibilities, mainly those imposed by the statute, by general principles of equity, or by the trust instrument (Oakley, Parker and Mellows, 2008). What is important is that there are severe costs awaiting trustees, particularly those who neglect their duties or violate the terms and conditions of the trust. Essentially, thus, there must be certainty and clarity when setting up a trust. It is important to be clear that the trustee is bound by the trust and as such, may not make use of the property in his personal capacity (Moffat, Bean and Probert 2009). Likewise, the beneficiary’s rights must be established with clarity and certainty so that they are in a position to enforce the trust in the case the trustee has failed to observe the terms set out. The above-quoted dictum or maxim of His Lordship will form the context for examining how principles of equity are applied in the context of trusts.

In maxims of equity and trust, there is no wrong without a remedy. As Moffat (2009) holds, it is the responsibility of the court of law to offer a consideration or remedy for a plaintiff even in the case where none has been provided in the statute book. This is because, as stipulated in the ubi jus ibi remedium, a remedy exists where there is a right (McFarlane, Hopkins and Nield, 2012). Suffice to say, this underlies the entire concept of equity because, until now, the common law courts completely refuse to provide sufficient remedies in certain circumstances.

Write a paper on Charting trip across the US.

I will pay for the following article Charting trip across the US. The work is to be 2 pages with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page. Travelling from Roselle Park to the western region (Reno) of the nation region of the nation requires courage and strength to encounter the challenges between the two centers. Policies were all in favor of the white (Bessette 34).

The appropriate trail to get to Reno from Roselle Park is using the route to Gunnison National Forest in the state of Colorado. When one gets to that state, trace a route through Utah and direct to Reno. The route is the safest trail to get to the destination, which is also my place of origin.

Description of the trail

The starting point of the trail was Roselle Park in New Jersey. We were making an adventurers religious journey organized by the Presbyterian churches of USA. It entailed all youth members around the nation. This was back in 1856, when the Natives’ policies in the United States of America were not fully defined. We began the train in an open caravan of the time at around 8pm. We were to follow the direction as shown in the diagram below.

One of the most demanding moments was when we got to the famous Gunnison National Forest. This is a forest known to have poisonous serpents, and other large animals. Therefore, we had to camp on the western side of the forest, to facilitates the continuation of the journey the following morning. At around 3am, we continued with the journey, hoping for the best.

At Utah, State at the central region as one approaches west. we met a group of youths having their way to Reno. They looked hostile and unfriendly, so we kept a safe distance as they were three times the members of my group. They were Indians and Mexicans, just like most of us. this meant that they had come from the southern-west boarder. Between the two regions, the journey was excellent as we met other three groups a distance of 102KM from the Capital of Utah. The trail took us 4 days, and we arrived to the destination point safe and sound. Reno was familiar to me, as this was my home area. I learnt in Roselle Park, and luckily got and employment in the same region.

Governments Policies towards the Native Americans

During this period, the whole of America was a desert. the government instituted policies towards the Native Americans in the year 1851. Below is a discussion of the major policies.

1. The Concentration Policy – this was an idea to concentrate these native in one large reservation. It was to prevent them from interfering with the white settlers in their railroad constructions and other travelling adventures. The policy affected the trail in a great way. we had to get a permit. It came to a success because the initiators of the trip were white religious leaders (Marger 36).

2. Termination Policy – it is the policy that ended the Bureau of Indian Affair. It also ended the government’s social responsibilities. These included security, education, and health. This means that we had no obligation to report anything to any authorities. So we travelled, hoping that all would be alright (Sidlow and Henschen 75).

3. Natives Citizenship Act – this was a policy that made us have the confidence of making such long trails as we were citizens of America.

The trail was fascinating but a challenge as a result of the discrimination of the natives by the whites.

People have been divided and affected by years of racism, who introduced many races and cultures. He was served peace, unity, and changes for the people of South Africa and the world (Li 55-60).

Leader’s attributes and importance

Leadership is the behavior of the person and it is not positional. Nelson Mandela served South Africa for 5 years. He is one of the most talented leaders of South Africa who know how to lead without formal authority. Mandela influence to grow global humanitarian and philanthropist. Complete 8 pages APA formatted article: The Types of Cancer. Under the microscope, cancer cells show different structural characteristics because of which they can be differentiated from the normal cells. They are pleomorphic in nature, which means that they have a tendency to have a variable size and shape than the normal cells. The cancer cells have different sizes and different shapes. Most of the cancer cells have large nuclei from the surrounding normal tissue cells and the nuclei of the cancerous cells contain an abnormal number of chromosomes, a condition known as aneuploidy. The aneuploidy may occur due to mutation or deletion of a chromosome or any other reason. The cell membrane of the cancer cells produces some sort of surface enzymes that have the ability to damage the basement membrane of tissues, with the help of which cancer spreads more easily to the surrounding non-cancerous cells and damages them too. The cancer cells show an increased rate of mitosis, which is the process of the reproduction of the new cells and hence cancer spreads to the surroundings. The cancer cells have differences in metabolism in comparison to normal cells, as their metabolism is more anaerobic and therefore they may even combat hypoxic conditions. (Trahan 2001 & Robbins et al 2005)

Chromosomal rearrangements have been found to be existing in many forms of cancers such as leukemias and lymphomas. It is believed that chromosomal instability is a great cause for the onset of a certain type of cancer. Chromosomal rearrangements are believed to have an effect on the protooncogenes. Translocation and inversion of a chromosome, in particular, have a significant effect on the protooncogenes. Translocation is particularly important when studying the chromosomal rearrangements leading to cancer. Translocations have&nbsp.two ways through which they can activate the protooncogenes one in which the overexpression of protooncogenes takes place which happens after the removal of these genes from the elements which hold them. Secondly, these translocations in many tumors form hybrid genes by combining two sets of different genres together.

Compose a 1250 words assignment on malate dehydrogenase isoenzymes. Needs to be plagiarism free! The activity of protein also varied between the fractions, with the liver particulate and lysed liver particulate showing higher levels of protein than the supernatant. The results of the experiment indicate that the majority of energy converting reactions is centered within the mitochondria, with the MDH reaction causing the highest amount of absorption, suggesting a stronger reaction. The prevalence of protein within this portion of the cell supports this hypothesis. The use of electron acceptors to measure the strength of reactions was an effective approach to determining the prevalence of each reaction, as well as their localization within the cell.

Throughout the human body, different enzymes interact with one another to form comprehensive reactions and chains of reactions that play important roles in the functioning of the human body (Schilling et al., 1999). The exact combination of enzymes and reactions that occur differ depending on the part of the body that is being considered, and the function of the cell. For example, the cells in the brain may perform some of the same functions as cells in the liver, such as cell replication, while other functions are significantly different, resulting in the use of different enzymes.

The liver has a range of roles, including the maintenance of blood glucose during starvation by the activation of glycogen. It is a critical organ for survival (Salway, 2012). As well as variation in function and enzyme composition across organs and areas of the body, this also occurs within organelles present within cells. Determining what enzymes are present in different cellular components and their level of activity can be achieved through the use of cell fractionation techniques (Scnaitman and Greenawalt, 1968). One cellular component of interest is the mitochondria, which are essential organelles, involved in cell death pathways as well as the production of metabolic energy (van Loo et al., 2002).
