Complete 8 pages APA formatted article: Female Prisoner Impregnated by Correctional Officers. In the United States, male guards were not allowed to come into direct contact with female prisoners until the 1964 Civil Rights Act (Figueira-McDonough & Sarri, 2002). About forty percent of women prison guards were men, and they had direct contact with the prisoners by the year 2007. The United States had 93,031 prisoners by the end of 2001. Women are incarcerated because of the increased war on drugs. The rapid increase of the population of women prisoners was not anticipated by the male-dominated prison industry. Although United States prisons are for correcting offenders, most of the female prisons lack the facilities of accommodating healthcare, mental, and social needs of the prisoners (Parker, 2002).

The number of women prisoners has been on the rise over the recent years in the United States but most of them do not face violent charges as opposed to men. Women prisoners have different experiences to those of men because women menstruate, and are very much affected by losing their children to Child Protective Services (Parker, 2002). Majority of women convicts are sexually or physically abused before they are convicted or are drug addicts. Men make up the majority of prisoners in the United States but the rate of the increase of a number of women prisoners is worrying because it is more than that of men. Incarcerated women tend to form structures similar to those of families in a bid to ensure that they live, as they would have in society. On the contrary, men become aggressive and isolate themselves from other inmates (Rudolf, 2012).

Increase in the number of female prisoners has resulted in the need for an increased number of prison staff. Men are not emotionally or physically affected by incarceration as women are. This is because women are faced with the daunting task of facing sexual abuse in prisons.

write an article on Delivery of Care.

Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Delivery of Care. It needs to be at least 2500 words. As a nurse, my area of work is a 9-bedded Intensive Therapy Unit in a district hospital, where 6 beds are allocated to intensive care unit patients, 3 for patients with a need for high dependency care. Apart from that, we have two side rooms, one each allocated for acute patients needing isolation and for pediatric patients. This is about my visit to an alternate care setting in the same hospital, which occurred a few days back when I visited the Oncology unit of our hospital where patients with cancer receiving both chemotherapy and radiotherapy are admitted.

Before coming into the Oncology Ward, I thought that our unit, ITU is the busiest unit in the hospital, but when I saw the Oncology Ward, I felt that they are also very busy in their sense of the term. This unit houses 25 beds arranged in one row with open nursing stations. There are closed cabins also, but they are used for clinical oncology nurse specialists. There was the dining room, a kitchen, a recreation room, and a small library. The nursing stations were open, no separate drug administration room, and a room dedicated to counseling. The staff told me that the patients in these beds are suffering from different cancers, some of them are receiving continuous chemotherapy, and some are recovering from intensive treatment. Since this is a district hospital, these beds were shared with Haematological Oncology. Three other important observations in this unit were a dedicated pharmacy area where chemotherapy regimens are formulated, preparation area where chemotherapy drugs were prepared (Bond and Raehl, 2007), and a dedicated information technology room that utilizes a computer program to calculate dose and formulate drugs so an error is eliminated. They have a two-bedded laminar flow unit and a one-bedded isolation unit for&nbsp.patients needing infection precautions and isolation respectively.&nbsp.

Write 2 pages with APA style on How I lead.

Write 2 pages with APA style on How I lead. Personal Assessment Personal Assessment Management skills are extremely important for each person who wants to succeed inlife. These skills, however, come with experience. a person develops them with time in different life situations. Currently I assess my management skills as fair (2) because I still need practice to be more confident in own ability to lead. Having no work experience as a manager, I practice my skills in other spheres of life, which are the same critical for future managers and leaders.

Relationships with my family and friends are the greatest source of experience I have. I always prefer the leading role in any groups because it gives me authority to organize people. In any complicated situation, I believe that directed actions and insightful discussion of the issue can lead to productive solution acceptable by all group members. If any conflict takes place in my family, I motivate others to share their opinions about solutions in order to develop a shared vision of the problem. Such strategy makes people collaborate and the problem disappears quickly. In this way, I develop my communication, team building and delegating skills. For instance, my father could not come to the common ground with my uncle and it caused many inconveniences for other family members. I had neutral relationships with my uncle, so I was able to communicate with him in friendly terms. I explained that even though my father seemed to be angry, he was not intended to do anything bad to my uncle. That talk with my uncle was productive because he changed his position and attitude towards my father. In this way, I took a decisive part in the solution of this conflict because I was the only person who managed to make my relatives listed to each other and compromise. I applied delegating skills to reach my main objective and resolve the conflict between the relatives.

I apply the same strategy of a “peacemaker” in communication with my friends. In any critical situation I prefer to slow down everyone and discuss the emerging problem. I am a people-oriented leader. I stress the importance of relationships and friendly atmosphere most of all. In team work good and respectful relationships predetermine success. I have noticed that such personal qualities as selfishness or stubbornness lead to decreased effectives in anything people do together. If people do not wish to communicate or compromise, they usually fail to do anything together. In this respect, I am convinced that communication must be treated as the main factor in leading.

Verbal communication is regarded as a top important management skill by Whetten & Cameron (2011). Listening is also included in this broad term. My personal experiences prove that if people want to share ideas and listen to each other, they can work effectively together. In other situations their performance is useless because they fail to give their actions common direction. In any group, effective leader is a person who can persuade and motivate other people to respect each other and cooperate.

Even though I have no work experience, I have already focused on developing essential management skills. Everyday communication with my friends and family allows me to learn from experience and become more confident acting as a leader. I can achieve better practical results with improved theoretical background about essential management skills.

prepare and submit a paper on malicious softwares.

Your assignment is to prepare and submit a paper on malicious softwares. These malware programs tend to infect systems and bundle other programs by attaching themselves as macros to computer files. These malware programs are also installed through the exploitation of a vulnerable spot in an operating system, a network spot, or even a hole that is existent in a browser. For these programs to cause harm to the computer, they have to multiply. which is a basic characteristic for them. Worms and viruses have the ability to alter the normal operation of an operating system. inflicting various kernel-level items (Christodorescu et al. 2007). These kernel items carry specific information with them that act as an indicator to existence of malware programs in the computer. As these malwares attach themselves to the computer, they tend to interact with various programs and increase their level of sophistication in order to combat anti-malware solutions.

Some types of viruses enter into the user computer systems through the email systems as well as the address books. These viruses present themselves in a manner to suggest their validity and objectivity from coming from a trusted host source. The execution of the host code supplements the execution of the viral code. The virus program is then able to destroy the host program and attach itself into the computer. However, not all viruses have the ability to overwrite other programs especially with their replicate copies (Gragido 2013). Some only infect the boot sector and move the data in the selected boot sector.

prepare and submit a paper on initial business idea.

Your assignment is to prepare and submit a paper on initial business idea. These people are those who appreciate a good healthy snack, and would have the purchasing power to patronize my products.

A specialty tea shop needs as much above the line advertisements as below the line efforts. I will select proper media exposure in local newspapers and radio stations, and would go heavy on leaflets and billboards, and in store promotions.

Target Market will be identified by first enumerating the qualities of each product to be offered. What are the products and variations to be served? What are the key benefits of these products? Do we put premium on its commercial appeal by engaging competitors in a price war and creating advertising plans that challenge the benefits of other similar products? Or do we want to maintain a certain brand image, and preserve the quality of the products notwithstanding other factors such as pricing?

Having done all these, I came to the conclusion that I would like my business to appeal to a certain niche market, but not alienating the popular crowd. I would be serving health products – specialty tea, coffee and confectionaries. I would like my target market to find appeal in the thought that they would be enjoying cost efficient but highly healthy snacks in my tea shop. My target market covers a wide age range. These may be college students who would want to spend quiet time catching up on notes and lessons while having good snacks. I also consider young professionals and adults who now have the capacity to pay for a type of snack that would greatly be beneficial to their health. Since the young professionals and adults are more health conscious nowadays due to the rise in the number of health drinks in supermarkets, they are the kind of market that would enjoy the products that I would offer.

Provide a 2 pages analysis while answering the following question: Case Analysis Report. Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is required. THE Cameroon Partners: THE Sukuk Bond Affiliation The East Cameroon Partners: The Sukuk Bond The East Cameroon Partners is an oil and gas company that was founded by father and son. In the early years, it was an independent oil business. The two main shareholders were Campbell, who owned 36.56% stake and Roger Evans, the son with 28.43% stake. Open Choke Energy Advisors had 33.00% stake and lastly the BT operating company 1.00% (Cunningham, 2002). In the early 1990 the oil prices were raising and the demand for oil and gas were also rapidly growing. Therefore, the oil companies’ major interest was in building more capacity to pump oil. In 2000, East Cameroon partners acquired a government lease with Conoco Philips Company and were able to purchase two main gas properties assets. Additionally they were given the rights to explore and exploit two gas properties. However, the company required funds to develop and exploit the sites. Thus, it went into an agreement with Macquarie Bank which agreed to finance them with US $45million, with an interest of 15% p.a and 50% equity stake. After the agreement, the reserves were extensive and profitable, so the East Cameroon Company was able to repay the loan quickly. The case study is one that the Macquarie bank is not willing to finance the company, two, and it still owns a 50% stake in the East Cameroon Company.

The East Cameroon Company, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Campbell Evans established that the company could not move on since they had little control of the company. The bank now had 50% stake. Meaning the original founders could no longer control the business as before. Evans is, therefore, looking for alternative funding options. At first he is more interested in getting the financial support to continue with the exploration (Cunningham, 2002). The most financial proposals he has received are from banks and require equity component. Evans and the other shareholders are not ready to give out more equity to banks. Evans would like to return the company’s shares as before so that they can control the company.

Evans was approached by Bemo Securitisation (BSEC) financier who offered an interesting financial solution. The solution is the use of Sukuk bond. This is an Islamic finance that would allow East Cameroon to reverse Macquarie’s equity stake. Additionally, it would replace it with a high yielding bond-like channel. However, Evans was not certain of how the Sukuk bond works. He therefore, decided to research before making any decision. The Sukuk structure was more complex that what he had thought. One, It consisted of securitizing hydrocarbon sales from the company. Two, the Sharia compliance required the Sukuk to have a large number of components. These components are Cayman Islands Special Vehicle (Cayman SPV), U.S SPV (Cunningham, 2002). The major setback was to raise the money that was to be used to buy the assets. Evans observed that Sukuk was a good financier, but he still had to consider the pros and cons carefully.

In conclusion, it is highly recommended that before entering into an agreement with Sukuk bond financier. Evans and the company have to do a deeper research. Further, according to Cunningham (2002), adopting an agreement that one doesn’t understand could lead to future problems. It is clear that Evans doesn’t understand the Islamic religion. Alternatively, Evans can hire a lawyer with an Islamic background to help his analyse the Sukuk Bond.

Psychology Research Ethics Problems.

I will pay for the following article Psychology Research Ethics Problems. The work is to be 1 page with three to five sources, with in-text citations and a reference page.

In light of revelations, the researcher exposes the entire study to some level of inaccuracy since the respondents alter their responses, as a human being inherently condition themselves to behave in a certain manner to stimuli. Respondent behaviour or operant behaviour has widely been studied to reveal that respondents act in a certain way to fit in the expectations following the psychological perception of the stimuli. The results obtained in such study must factor in some level of the alteration as an assumption since respondent behaviour becomes very central to the expected outcomes (McLeod, 2007).

The author accounts for a way to deal with the alteration of perceptions using Milgram’s study of obedience where the procedure applied is concealed in the form of deception. McLeod (2007) argues that it is allowed to alter the respondents’ perception on the procedure but not in a material way such that the respondents remain protected in the study. The deception must be kept at its minimum possible level aimed at eliciting the expected results and avoiding alterations from respondents’ perceptions. It, therefore, means that the ethics can slightly be constricted but the researcher must ensure that it is not materially tampered with.

Complete 4 pages APA formatted article: In what ways does recycling directly impact the sustainability of the environment. Recycling is an alternative to land filling, which in any case in getting scare. In addition, the impact of global warming is much less in recycling than in landfill. Recycling is a major industry and for the sustainability of the environment, the infrastructure has to be in order.

Recycling is assumed to be environmentally beneficial but even the process of collecting, sorting and processing material gives rise to environmental impacts and energy use (Postnote 2002). The impact of recycling different products is charted in the table below:

Even though recycling results in energy conservation and conservation of natural resources, it does impact the environment through the greenhouse emissions, pollution or the use of finite resources. Recycling positively impacts the environment in several ways. It reduces waste going into landfills, it saves energy in producing fresh products and it reduces the amount of pollution from litter, incineration and misuse. Using three tons of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water, and three cubic yards of landfill (Globalimpact 2005).

E-waste has become very common in most countries and particularly in China where economic development has been very rapid. It is an important waste stream in terms of both quantity and toxicity (Liu, Tanaka and Matsui 2005). Both businesses and homes discard e-waste that come from equipments like computers, televisions, refrigerators and the like. The recycling process in China is absolutely informal and this has an adverse impact on the environment. Recycling of the e-waste takes place in the villages in China and is handled by the uneducated people. These uneducated people use technology like burning or acid dipping and the waste is then dumped in the local river that has become polluted. E-waste includes several metals and chemicals and lead is commonly used in the equipments. Lead can cause chronic damage to the nervous and reproductive systems.
