As a manager, my wildly important goal is to keep my clients happy and satisfied. Admittedly, client satisfaction is paramount in influencing the present and future success of a business. Without satisfaction, clients’ drop-out will undermine the revenue aspects of a business. In this case, I will strive to achieve client satisfaction by delivering a project’s outcomes in a timely manner. Besides finishing on time, I will complement my wildly important goal with completion of a project under the predetermined budget. Therefore, cost efficiency and timeliness are the essential components of my wildly important goal.

Question 2: Who do You Want to be?

As a project manager, I want to be an achiever. Success and achievement will be the founding pillars of who I want to be. In all my professional undertakings, I will strive to manage expectations of all involved stakeholders, especially the expectations of my employer and that of the company’s clients. Undeniably, meeting or surpassing expectations as a reliable indicator of an achiever’s competence. In case of changing needs and expectations, I will align my task performance procedures with the new stakeholders’ expectations.

Question 3: Can Project Management help you Achieve Your Goals?

Undeniably, project management will help me achieve my goals. First, project management emphasizes on measurability of task progress. Secondly, project management recognizes the element of timeliness in task progress. Moreover, project management values the aspect of feedback and communication with a project’s stakeholders. As aforementioned, I would ensure client satisfaction by becoming an achiever. Feedback and effective communication, which is an essential element of project management, will be influential in facilitating client satisfaction (Brewer, 01). In addition, my wildly important goal will materialize only if I will be able to keep track of a project’s progress through objective measurement of deliverables in terms of cost and time.

write an article on minimum legal drinking age

Hi, I am looking for someone to write an article on minimum legal drinking age Paper must be at least 3000 words. Please, no plagiarized work! Chafetz argues that the MLDA of 21 “has not worked,” and is not linked to reduced drunk-driving fatalities (7). He holds that enforcing a minimum legal age for drinking does not take into consideration the deaths caused by alcohol off the highways, and drives teenagers to binge drinking in unsupervised surroundings. On the other hand, Nelson and Toomey take the position that the MLDA of 21 has reduced drinking-related deaths, and decreased binge-drinking in underage college students. Although both authors have credibility and are knowledgeable and logical about the subject, and Chafetz is more accommodating of opposing viewpoints, Nelson and Toomey make a more convincing argument as their stand is supported by extensive references to research studies.

Both the essays are authored by writers with impeccable credentials. Chafetz is a credible speaker in the MLDA debate, as he is the founder of the National Institute for Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse and The Health Education Foundation in Washington. His reputation is further bolstered by the fact that he was a member of the Presidential Commission on Drunk Driving, Director and Executive Member of the National Commission Against Drunk Driving and the Presidential appointee at The White House Conference for a Drug-Free America. He is also a Doctor of Psychiatry, with a long history of association with social issues, such as alcoholism and drug abuse. Chafetz’s credentials are more than matched by Nelson and Toomey, who belong to the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health. Their argument is further supported by a group of academicians and researchers. The reputation of the writers contributes to the trustworthiness of the essays and makes them both credible.

Similarly, both the essays are written by knowledgeable authors who make their respective positions clear through unambiguous declarations. Chafetz emphatically states that “Prohibition — is not working among 18-20 year-olds now” (8). On the other hand, Nelson and Toomey are equally firm in their conviction that “A drinking age of 21 has led to less drinking, fewer injuries, and fewer deaths” (9).

Create a 1 page page paper that discusses on the brink of war. On the Brink of War The speech delivered by Sen. Robert C. Byrd emphasized the irrelevance and inappropriateness of beginning the war. To persuade the audience in the validity of his ideas and judgments he used different kinds of persuasion techniques.

To begin with, the claim was supported by logos. It implies reasoning and providing logical evidence. Byrd claimed that it would be radical for the United States to “attack a sovereign government because of a dislike for a particular regime”, supporting it by the fact that this action would be “in contravention of international law and the U.N. Charter”. Another example of logos was the statistics which showed the sum of money spent by the administration. Byrd thought it was dismal, because “this administration has squandered a large projected surplus of some $5.6 trillion”. Furthermore, in this speech we can observe a few examples of ethos, when the Senator made references to authorities. “The distinguished Senator from Illinois, Mr. Durbin, and I have been talking about that”. However, the most numerous are the examples of pathos, to my mind. “There will be children, little boys and girls dying if this war goes forward in Iraq. And American men and women will die, too”, “but on whom will we depend when these men and women are gone to foreign lands to fight a war if a war faces us here at home, a different kind of war” and others.

The whole speech was based on the Toulmin method of argumentation. There was a clear split between sides. The Senator neither gave neutral statements, nor analyzed the opposing side. On the contrary, all his claims were highly judgmental, focused on strengthening his viewpoint. Byrd underpinned his thoughts by data, warrants and backing. The idea of entering a new war was ominous for him. “We may have massive military might… but remember we have had massive military might before. How many millions of men marched to the drums of war only 60 years ago? Thirteen million American men under arms…”

To sum up, in his speech “On the Brink of War” Sen. Robert C. Byrd all three categories of arguments – logos, ethos and pathos and applied the Toulmin approach.

Complete 9 pages APA formatted article: National Health Insurance Program in Ghana. The government marginalizes sex workers as not of interest, therefore the disease is not given the due consideration in the newly democratized stated (Howley, 2010, p. 367).

The prevention of HIV/AIDS through behavior modification has been a primary resource for addressing the disease (Howley 2010, p. 186). According to the International Monetary Fund (2006), HIV/AIDS issues are recognized as a threat to the “socioeconomic development of the country through its potential impact on human capital development, productivity, and social services delivery“(p. 109). In 2006 the following measures were taken in working towards the prevention of the disease within the nation of Ghana:

The following table shows the number of people who were benefiting from ART as of December 2006. At that time, there were 50,942 people in need of services with only 7,338 benefiting from art which represents only 14.4% of those in need(International Monetary Fund, 2006, p. 109).

Ghana has seen a decline in poverty from 39.5% in 1998 to 1999 years to 28.5% in 2006 (African Development Bank., & OECD, 2008). In addition, there has been a concerted effort on the part of the government to address the needs of its citizens in regard to health care. According to former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings, Ghana suffers from a poor system of health care that is lead by a staff of insensitive and unprofessional medical personal and complicated by poor infrastructure and a lack of equipment. The staffs of hospitals are burdened by a lack of everything, thus leaving them jaded and without motivation (Modernghana.com 2010). In addition, the National Health Insurance Scheme that has been put into place is beleaguered by problems and is not providing the much-needed services that the people need in order to have adequate health care.

The National Health Insurance Scheme is the product of the administration led by John Kufuor. However, one of the exceptions to the insurance plan that was developed is the antiviral medications needed for HIV (Ghanaweb, 2010).

Write 2 pages thesis on the topic working with organisations such as the inland revenue and abbey national. Supporting ment My college education in interdisciplinary studies has given me a taste of diverse education and that has brought about an appreciation for the values of equality and diversity for me. I have an excellent phone manner and have a lot of experience dealing with people on the phone in all sorts of capacities from a switchboard operator to a part of a consulting group. This has also made me well-versed with understanding the legal requirements of confidentiality, regulatory and ethical matters that apply to various client relationships.

I believe that my volunteer work with young children has placed me ideally to handle the problems faced by them and I have been briefed about issues such as sexual abuse and domestic violence as it relates to them. Since I am very good at following instructions, conducting needs assessments based on set methodologies should not be a problem for me at all. Similarly, recording data by hand or on a computer is also something I have a lot of practice with within my previous positions.

Working with organisations such as the Inland Revenue and Abbey National has given me a background in ensuring that the right department is given the right information about the right client therefore referrals to other services or appropriate colleagues is almost second nature for me. When required, I can follow up with clients just as I had in the financial industry or in the consultancy business. I certainly have the initiative to work as a problem solver but I also well understand the scope of my authority therefore I can spot when a problem needs to be referred to higher authorities.

This balanced approach has put me in a position where I always create productive and positive relationships with all my co-workers and these relationships are always meant to further the progress and objectives of the group. I appreciate the value of teamwork and communications simply because I have worked in positions that have placed me at the centre of the network where I was essentially managing a lot of the communications that went through the company. Roles such as these have given me deeper insights into how organisations operate and what they can do to improve their communication systems and methodologies.

Of course, with newer systems issues such as security, confidentiality and reliability may also come up and I can safely say that my familiarity with these areas is very much above par. I believe that a company should have set standards of practice and that the employees should conform to these standards for the benefit and safety of all concerned parties. Therefore I do not see a reason why is should not be able to do the same for this organisation. Working for the Inland Revenue taught me the importance of complying with regulations and rules of conduct and I am certain that I can apply the same anywhere else that I work. Most importantly, I am willing to learn and adept to the changes that come to the work environment therefore I believe that I am the perfect candidate.

To Prepare:

  • Review the steps of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as presented in the Resources.
  • Reflect on your own healthcare organization and consider any steps your healthcare organization goes through when purchasing and implementing a new health information technology system.
